Do you think the brand of tablet matters? My partner is thinking of getting one to draw again but not sure if I wanna buy an iPad cause they aren't the cheapest in Aus.

And this is really confusing, that people call the drawing tablet and the mobile device the same word. I mean wacom tablet, of course. The one for drawing. With pressure sensitivity, and all that. I have a mobile device tablet too, and it's good, but not as good as the former.

You can send me a message if you have questions about drawing equipment. But in truth it doesn't really matter what you use to draw, as long as you draw.

It looks more like a paper spike to me, I'd give one to Scribbles for loose paperwork...

 

(The severed head within the helmet is optional, depending on whether I'm rolling an evil SInquisitor or not?)

The Dead Reaper pops up on ebay every now and then and not with too much of a mark up on the original price either.

 

The TIM and Wards ones are my favourites and like Lola said with the litho Bioware sent her, pictures really don't do justice to them. They're absolutely stunning.

They're alright. I liked them much more than Xanth, but there's still tons of the gratuitous sex and random species changing and nudity and... well, typical Piers Anthony.  :lol: But the world and concept he created was pretty cool, behind all of that.

Definitely Sera if she insists on being mean to Cole all the time ^_^

Thanks :) I think he's looking at something soon (he's very indecisive person & changes his mind frequently) so I might pop you a PM when he finally makes up his mind, if he ever does. I'm thinking about just getting a simple tablet, try the tablet app you mentioned before and take it from there. If he gets serious again, I might PM you for some info if thats okay (which may be never lol)

I'd add a "time out" desk with a 5 minute hour glass timer so they can think about what they've done

I'll also add an "oooo ahhh" while shaking my head with a disappointed look on my face

 

(okay okay I bring way too many habits from school home!)

In Vivienne's case you may need to make sure she has maximum exposure to as many people as possible ;)

This. I thought exactly the same. And I'm kind of reliefed because that means that there is hope for me yet :lol:  *started with first still lifes recently*.

Personally my favourite fantasy series is The Obernewtyn Chronicles by Isobelle Caramody (Aussie Author). I think they're aimed at older teen (she's been writing them since 1987) but I've been waiting for last book to come out before re-reading them.

I'm going to have to check out the books you've recommended as well. Hopefully they're on kindle or join my local library.

 

I'm waiting for my TME to arrive and then I'm going to go through Asunder and the Calling again
