Depends who comes back, if it's the future then Asari and Krogan can live for at least a thousand years or something.

I think I would personally prefer a game in the future, but that's because if it was a prequel or something that happened at the same time, I'd be all: "this story seems kind of... awkward when I know reapers are on the way."

Leli did mention that didnt she?

Truth.  I hit the same rock 4 times and exploded.  It was more agile though!  I guess its the difference between a St Bernard and an Australian Shepard.

I quote/near-quote games kinda often.

I liked the manoeuvrability of the Hammerhead, but hated how quick it was to blow sky high. Also hated how it... drifted rather than come to a quick stop. No one would want to tell the story of Shepard if it ended with 'em sliding off of a cliff 'cause of that wack-arse hovercraft.

Very true on that first part for me as well!  Wait... are you reading my mind (looks suspiciously).  I'm going to have to pull out that tin foil hat again >.>

Quoting is a way of life for me... I quote movies and games to my husband all the time and hes all "I don't even...".  I keep trying to get him to play games and stuff, and now that he can play my steam library while Im offline, he starts games and never finishes any of them and im all... but thats a really good game!!! (sad face)

I've told the story of Shepard dying more times than I care to admit.  My favorites were:

1) death by grenade on insanity mode in the priorty earth when the shuttle door wouldnt open fast enough and I got blown up...

2) epic fail flip the mako to its roof and the mission failure

3) getting killed in Citadel DLC on the Normandy by

Spoiler
because I couldnt remember how to throw a grenade (that was epic terribad)

@Panda - very true about shoes and houses.  I wear bear feet even though my kids would rather I didnt hahaha!  Anything to upset the little buggers (tongue in cheek here)

I keep thinking if he was visiting here and was out and about in the summer he'd wear some comfy Nevados sandals.  Those are supreme for summer wear comfort, with air flow, and thick springy soles....

Not to mention they'd have their work cut out coming up with something as 'epic' for us to do. And ruin the atmosphere, because we already know what happened with Shepard and the Reapers. Future is clearly the way to go.

I wonder if they'll go with the whole dark energy/dark matter/whatever threat that they scrapped in ME3.

I think they should be good as long as the game is in the far, far future, so that the choice at the end of ME3 would be minimal.

Oh yeah. I vaguely remember reading about that and thinking it was more interesting than what they went with.

Did that tie into Conrad's Dissertation?

THIS, so so much.  I really want to move beyond the reapers and face whatever challenge or threat is next without the idea of THE REAPERS hanging over my head!  :P

Yeah, Tali had a mission in ME2 surrounding it as well.

Okay, I dunno what y'all are talking about. I LOVED the Mako. I really wish I could get somebody to draw my Fem!Shep driving it with this look of overly enthusiastic excitement, while her squad mates were terrified, and holding on for dear life. The Hammerhead was too easy to drive. God, i miss the Mako.

 I liked the Mako too.  Don't get me wrong, I was sh*t at driving it, but boy did I have fun.  Maybe I'm just weird.

Re: Marquis Durellion, the mentioned in the elfQuizzy picture

His wife doesn't own Haven, but apparently she has the right to claim it or something
There's a video with the german VO-contest winners, where we can listen to some of the lines they say in game
At 5:50 we hear the man who voices Marquis Durellion say:
"Ambassador, the Inquisiton can't stay unless you prove that Justinia ordered them"
Followed by
"According to an old agreement with the Ferelden Throne, my wife Lady ____ has the right to claim Haven"
It's kinda hard to translate, but that's the gist of it

Lol, I didn't meant to scare anyone ^^ The games are good, only like 5-10 minutes at the end of ME3 sucks :P

Oh know I meant I have actually been in a conversation where someone said "oh nah, you don't want to play those games. The ending was so horrible there's just no point." Sorry, I should have worded my post better :D

Re: Marquis Durellion, the mentioned in the elfQuizzy picture

From what I gathered from the Elfquisitor picture, the DuRellion's 'lent' the Divine some land because it's a holy site, and now the Inquisition seems to laying claim over it now she's dead. Given that it appears to be Haven and the area around it, it's possible this is the Inquisitor taking control of Skyhold or at least somewhere near the Breach.

I HATE to bring up such a poor excuse for a video game...but this is looking a lot like Fable 3...

Like the whole thing 'steal lands and cheat people, and be able to defeat the enemy at the cost of trust and support' or 'be nice and give stuff to everybody and you'll die but everyone loves you so it's OK'

(Yes I know there's a third option)

Yeah, I agree. At the very least, we are in the Frostbacks near the Breach. I guess it'd make sense for us to remain close to it.

Ouch

I liked Fable 3 well enough. And some of the quests were golden.

I will always and forever love the table top RPG quest with those three dorks.

And I expect Inquisition to be much more complicated than that, of course.

As a native german Speaker, I just listened to it. Apparently, his Wife is "Lady Marchon of Denerim", which might explain something. Or not.

The concept behind Fable 3's system was a good one, it was just implemented very poorly. If DAI has harnessed it without feeling basic, cheap, or paper thin then it'll be an interesting addition to the game.

My main problem with Fable 3 was that it was trying to hard to be morally grey. It just wasn't in keeping with Fable 1 and 2 and ended up just not being all that fun.

Are you seriously worried that Bioware is going to make Lionhead's mistakes? Compare the entire Fable series to the entire Dragon Age series. We are not remotely on the same level here. And Gaider is not nearly as talkative as a certain someone, know what I mean?

People have a lot more complaints about the DA series because there is so much stuff to complain about. Comparing the two series is like comparing an afternoon at the beach and splashing around in a mud puddle. The former leaves you sunburned and raw from the salt water and sand, and sea gulls are annoying, and the other beach goers' music sucks and the ice cream parlor is out of chocolate. The other? Sure it's fun at first, but you quickly get bored and you just feel dirty afterwards.
