There is no such thing as 3/3/3 split. No one ever confirmed that. If you believe it, that's fine i wont go as far as convincig you.

They kinda did confirm it in a sense, they said that there would be a even distribution of classes for the companions, so you don't have to get so..."attitudey"
It hasn't been confirmed if it's readable though. Imagine another Skyrim map, where everything is covered by clouds.

Not really. If we operate under the idea that Cole has been cut, since we've been pretty confident of that for some time now, they need a new rogue. And Beardy, though not originally conceptualised as such, could easily fill this role if they were concerned about balance. And it's not like it would require much change to his background or storyline, especially if he's a Sigrun-esque rogue. And to explain that since you didn't play Awakening to my knowledge, I believed Sigrun to be a warrior for the longest time. But nope, rogue.
Well,about the warden being a rogue well I'm not so sure about that possibility any more 
...I know this is entry is pretty old and some things might have changed(like his class hopefully) but still.

LOL I love this. I think everyone has a little Cullenite in them. After all...Oh I wouldn't call myself a non-Cullenite, exactly. Perhaps I have an inner Cullenite that has yet to be unleashed and DAI is the game that will bring it out.
You know, I've been wondering, and forgive me if I'm repeating a musing someone has already mentioned, who is the "deceptive wax fruit?" From what I've seen, none of our speculated/confirmed companions seem to be very deceptive to me, save for Sera... Or maybe even Iron Bull, I don't know. What do you guys think? Who is the "deceptive wax fruit?"
It's been speculated that it's either Cole or Dorian, because both are not what they seem.
@ R2, if I truly become a Cullenite, will the occasion be marked with a shower of rainbows and Cullen heads like in that banner? Because that might convince me, not gonna lie.

Right, I mean, it seems to me that ML did not specifically say, "There will be three members of each class on your team." To me that is significant, and I await the lovely Ashe's ability to ask them about this and clarify for us.

I don't think the deceptive wax fruit is Cullen, just because of all the negative things you could possibly say about Cullen, I don't think "deceptive" is among them. He's not perfect by far, but there's never been any indication he's a liar or manipulator. Unless they've changed Cullen's personality completely, it just doesn't fit for me.
I think he's shortbread or strawberry parfait.
He also could possibly be surprise meatballs? Because I don't actually know what surprise meatballs are. How could meatballs be a surprise? Like you think it's just plain sauce and then, "Oh, a meatball!"?

What confuses me is that the devs said all the companions were important people in some way, right? Well, if Cole is a companion how does he fit into this? I mean, sure he's special, but he's not someone of power within Thedas or a specialist in some way (like Solas and his Fade knowledge).

I do believe, however, if we have a 3/3/3 party composition, then he will be our third mage.
On the off chance we only have two mages, then I believe he will be the uber-important NPC. But that's looking unlikely at this time.

I think it goes back to the Bio party when someone discovered meatballs among all sorts of desserts, or sth like that. So I would assume that it is just something totally unexpected. But it sounds fun and confusing at the same time, that's for sure.

Well if DHMG is Dorian, he's been pretty strongly hinted at. Plus Cole would fit the bill pretty well. Grey Warden dude doesn't seem like he'd fit deceptive wax fruit at all. I'd peg him as strawberry parfait. If Cullen is a companion, shortbread would suit him, I think!
