Dragon Age @dragonage
The #DAI Gameplay Feature Series kicks off tomorrow with a closer look at combat.
I just saw this! : D

Actually, that particular shield is from da2: http://dragonage.wik.../Lion_of_Orlais
They've been reusing some weapons from 2
I love this shield. They said in the Q&A that some of the old styles would make a come back. I like that some of the old styles will be coming back. It will make DAI feel a little more homey for the returning players.
Let's reword: "What if they show us a little Cullen combat action too?"
Yesss, I want to see that!
Yes! I mean he is our military adviser. I think it would be important to see how skilled his is with a sword...For science and reasons ![]()

I'd sure love to see what kind of sword he uses. ![]()
I suck at archery, so I'll just bring along Varric or Sera and watch them go to it. DW dwarf female for Iron Bull here - probably 3rd playthrough. I always prefer to be human too, so I am officially sadder than you, lol!
Don't like being a warrior, so there's just mage left. I like playing mages, but I sometimes feel like in DA they're just a little too 'special'. Still fun though.
I haven't bothered with archery much so my skill is woefully underdeveloped. I couldn't stick with it in Baldur's Gate or Fable. In Jade Empire, I never was comfortable with the staff. I just like blades. And I have a knack for stringing spells together, so I stick with those but my fave player character is a dual wield rogue. 75% of my play-throughs are that. I didn't can touch archery in DA2. I was happy to let Varric monopolize that BAMF spot. I'll probably do the same for DAI. Ill just have to flip a coin for who I'm taking: Varric or Sera.
Sera seems like she might be a ton of fun, but I love Varric so it's going to be a tough decision. Actually it's going to take me forever to choose my party every time we venture forth - they are all so interesting! On my Cullen LI playthrough(s) it's going to feel weird not having my PC's boyfriend along.
Gareth David Loyd is so adorable and making me think maybe I would like to romance Solas.
Welcome to the club, lady.

Is there a list somewhere of Cullenites on Twitter? I'd love to follow you guys! ![]()

Will you be playing as a different character or will it be with the Qunari fem mage?

Locked it. A while ago.
It was for the best. Allan doesn't want a new one made until the last two LI's are revealed, though.

Late but:
I always thought the artificer would rock best for archers, personally. Traps set up in front of you, your bow drawn... I mean with a duel wield rogue that requires ducking in close and personal, setting up traps doesn't seem like it would be high on their agenda. You could play a duel wield rogue with traps of course, but I'm personally leaving an artificer run until I roll archer.

It sound like a good match because if an enemy was to get past your tank you would have a extra shield.
