Oh well then I know I won't get in. Those 'write about yourself' boxes always get me incredibly nervous for some reason so I just quickly typed in some stuff about being a huge fan. I was hoping my huge amounts of beta experience would get me through, but it doesn't like it will.

I wouldn't worry about that. I put some sob story about how I'd rushed home to fill out the app and how much I loved Dragon Age blah blah blah. It's probably more about what demographic you fit in and what system you play on.

I was thinking it might be more about the technical side of things. I don't quite remember my answers except that I emphasized how interested in the story and characters of Dragon Age I was. It's kind of a fog for me. But, honestly, since we know it'll be about a month before the release of the game, I'm pretty much just going to stop worry and focus on other things. 

 

I'm going to be getting my degree in the spring (hopefully) among other things so I'll be keeping busy, that's for sure, and I do have my Dragon Age Let's Plays that I need to finish. I'm editing my Awakening run and starting recording for DA2 right now. 

 

Edit: Be back in a bit, have to go do important IRL things. I shall return! *shuffles off*

Game is so close to launch anyway the keep excitement has kinda just worn off

I just posted the last few episodes of Let's Play DA:O not too long ago so you can see it from start to finish. Sadly it was also my first Let's Play so it's not the most well executed- The audio syncing was terrible for the first couple of episodes. But I'm still pretty proud of it.

Like I said, working on DA:A and Witch Hunt now and starting recording for DA2.

I asked about this one once and what Melo said was that with each wave, they're looking for something specific. Like in the first wave, they may need people who just have a TON of experience playing on Bioware games, so they grab everyone who put down that they haven't gone a day of their lives without BioWare since BG, or whatever. And in that next wave, they may need people who aren't technically inclined at all, because they've tweaked this one thing and want to see if it makes it easier to use for the not-so-techno. So not getting in doesn't mean they don't think you have a lot of experience - maybe they could only take ten people with a bunch and haven't needed bunchers yet since then, you know? 

 

I don't know how many people are in the Keep, but there's probably hundreds of thousands of applications worldwide. Something like 3% of us are in the keep right now. You've almost got a better chance of winning the lotto. 

 

BUT CULLEN THINKS WE'RE ALL KEEPERS SO WE'VE GOT THAT.

If they do manage to fix it, I'd be up for seeing it. Part of the reason I came to the Cullen side was reading this guy's tweets (which I thought were hilarious).

 

But I think stuff like that can be fixed. Hopefully we'll get to see something.
