I'd like to think that he's unaware of it, just because he strikes me as a humble guy that is more inclined to insult himself than show off or talk about his achievements etc. Plus, Dorian is hot and he knows it so we don't really need two of them preening themselves every 5 minutes, LOL!

It's actually bright red/orange currently, like that chick out of Paramore... except the ends of my hair have gone a sandy blonde, LOL! It's gonna take a while to get it to the ginger colour that I want because I had to bleach out what was left of the black, so I'm essentially having to build up the layers of colour in order for the right shade of dye to take properly.

The best ones to take around (in my opinion) are Varric, Isabela and Carver, or Varric, Isabela and Aveline. It's also quite sweet having Carver and Merrill together in the same party to watch them awkwardly flirt.

I will definitely try those combos on my next Hawke, as neither Carver or Isabela are in my game now. TY for the tip!

Naw, my hair is a dark brown with a very slight red tinge naturally but I've been dying it black since I was 17 (I'm 28 now). Every so often I'd dye it a crazy colour like pink, blue, purple etc but most of the time it's been black. I decided I wanted to change my hair colour permanently because I'm bored of having black hair and I'm fed up of the "omg you look like Amy Winehouse" comments (she wasn't all that attractive, even before the drugs lol), plus it was starting to look a bit too harsh on my features now that I'm getting older. 

 

I considered going a crazy colour again, but those temporary dyes stain everything and I feel like it's starting to look stupid on me now I'm pushing 30 but I also didn't want to go back to brown because I feel like it makes me look plain, so I decided on ginger... it's not as easy to accomplish as I'd hoped and hilariously now my hair is crazy red/orange I look about 19 again LMAO! It also makes my eyes look really green, which I like!

I like to think that he's aware that women think he's attractive... And it annoys him. Particularly since he doesn't agree. I still headcanon that there's a slew of female recruits who joined the Order because of him and that it's a running, annoying joke around the Gallows.

Mostly in DA2 I was bugged by Anders, Merrill and Fenris combo that I used to run in my playthroughs for maker knows what reason. That combo doesn't have anything but insults and hurt feelings. Merrill tries to be caring and nice, Anders and Fenris shut her down and insult her. Anders and Fenris constantly fighting. Ugh.

 

I think other characters get along pretty well actually or it didn't go to outright insults at least. Aveline and Isabela have some rival-bro-mance thing going on but at least they like each other so I'm not bothered by it.

But, I *never* carried Aveline and Isabela around together because while most people saw their banter as playful, it made me want to punch Aveline in the mouth a lot.  I love her as a character, love Isabela as a character, hated the way they talked to each other.

I carry around Aveline and Isabela a lot because while they still ****** at each other, they become close friends. Aveline does judge Isabela harshly because of her lifestyle, but she grows and even learns from Isabela. I think it's a great friendship...

 

because my friends and I ****** at each other the same way. XD

 

And I'll bring Fenris and Anders in if I feel like they need to be punished - otherwise, I want to smack them bother despite my adoration for them.

Aging up is like leveling up; you have MORE options, not less But yeah the crazy colors do stain; I use Special Effects, and my shower is still pink from the dye 4 weeks ago... I hope I can figure how to get it out before I move, but that'll be years from now so I'm not worried about it at present.

 

In other news, I had a Cullen dream last night! He came over to my house, and I was SHOCKED because his voice was just so mature and solemn, and he looked older than I would have imagined... in short, I was all a-quiver lol I got confused though because I was clearly myself and not one of my characters and didn't understand what was going on.

Aveline s!ut-shamed Isabela, but don't forget also that Isabela picked on Avleine for not being "feminine" enough. Both are not cool... as for Fenris and Anders, I think Anders was the worse; I'm a Fenris nut, so I mostly forgive because of what he's been through, the only time I wanted Hawke to pull him aside was when he called Merrill a monster after Pol died. There's a time and a place, Fenris lol

It's not to do with my age, it's just my physical appearance.

 

For example, you having crazy coloured hair at 33/34 still looks fine on you because your facial features are different to mine, but on me it's starting to look a bit daft as I get older. Same with black hair, it's beginning to look too harsh for my features and then I get people saying "are you some sort of goth?" So I literally look like I'm trying to relive my youth, when I'm not lol. Plus, in regards to the black hair I'm trying to kinda move on from the physical appearance I've had since I was a teen. I just feel like having a bit of a makeover, but I still want to retain that "alternative" feel, thus ginger seemed like a good choice since it's vibrant but not so wacky that I'd look like I was trying to relive my younger years again, lol.
