See, and I carried Anders, Fenris and Sebastian around *because* they didn't like each other. Team Passive-Agressive A$shats.

 

But, I *never* carried Aveline and Isabela around together because while most people saw their banter as playful, it made me want to punch Aveline in the mouth a lot.  I love her as a character, love Isabela as a character, hated the way they talked to each other.

 

It's interesting how we all interpret the nuances of character banter.

 

I'm currently running Anders, Fenris and Sebastian party with my Hawke XD It was pretty nice until act 3, just some snarky comments but it seems like Sebastian and Anders are really fed up with each other in act 3, other already planning mage revolution and other planning to stop it.

 

Hmm I think Aveline and Isabela are being as bad to each other. Aveline insults Isabela for sleeping around, Isabela insults Aveline for being reserved with sexual things. Isabela insults Aveline for being too "manly" and Aveline insults Isabela for being too "giving". I like how they both come around with it.

I know it's been talked about many times already, but I can't wait to see who really pushes Cullen's buttons and sets him off. Will there be anyone who is an automatic no-go for him... to the point where he won't even engage them? Very excited to see how they've meshed this gang of new companions and advisors together.

I would imagine he's gonna hate Sera and probably have not much tolerance for Vivienne playing the Game. I just wanna hear Bull and Dorian flirt with him lol.

I swear to God, if he even looks funny at Cole, heads will roll lol. Sera had better be careful with her words as well. I already feel like a big brother to Cole.

Cullen has been quite patient though the games so I wonder if there would be one he couldn't stand. Cole and Dorian are my best bets taking accord what they are: spirit from fade and mage from Tevinter who uses necromancery. I don't think he'd be hostile towards them though.

Me too! What would be really funny is if Cullen turned it around on those boys at some point and called their bluff.

I'd follow that up with a fireball to the face. I don't put up with that crap.

It's amazing how I already feel so protective of Cole already. And if Rhys is indeed dead, I will feel even more protective of him.

I suspect I'll be telling Sera off frequently if she's that cruel to him. I mean, yeah he's a demon but he's trying to be good, the fact that they can get to a point where they have the option to either carry on being demony or turn over new leaf is a big deal. So, if Cole wants to be a spirit and he's not running around trying to kill my party members, advisors, or innocent people then who am I to judge. The kids alright with me!

He's not a real corpse. Remember when he "vanished" once Lambert spoke to him?

It's similar to how other demons can manifest a body when they cross the Veil. Initially, Cole kept his body from disappearing by killing other people. Now, it seems, he can maintain his form properly, though he still uses blood magic to make people forget him.
He's not like Justice and Kristoff. Cole is much more powerful than Justice, I believe. Hence his ability to manifest a form without a need for a host.

I don't think he's in a body?

I was under the impression he was a spirit/demon/whatever that took on the appearance of Cole and that the templars had cremated the real Cole at some point.

Cole, Solas, and either Blackwall or Cassandra are going to be my mainstays. I do think Cullen won't like Cole very much though. I think he'll get along kind of okay with Solas...maybe. And I'm sure he'll get along fine with Cassandra and Blackwall.

I have quite protective feels to Cole as well. I can understand party members being wary of him but if they are going to insult my precious I'll punch them XD

It's not to do with my age, it's just my physical appearance.

 

For example, you having crazy coloured hair at 33/34 still looks fine on you because your facial features are different to mine, but on me it's starting to look a bit daft as I get older. Same with black hair, it's beginning to look too harsh for my features and then I get people saying "are you some sort of goth?" So I literally look like I'm trying to relive my youth, when I'm not lol. Plus, in regards to the black hair I'm trying to kinda move on from the physical appearance I've had since I was a teen. I just feel like having a bit of a makeover, but I still want to retain that "alternative" feel, thus ginger seemed like a good choice since it's vibrant but not so wacky that I'd look like I was trying to relive my younger years again, lol.

 

I see, well, I just didn't want you to feel inhibited because of your age; I remember what turning 30 was like; I was quite gloomy for a year or so after that, feeling like I hadn't accomplished much but also that it was time for me to "grow up" so to speak. I'm over that now

I definitely think Cole will be the easiest to miss. And Blackwall we'll probably find when/if we start taking on the Wardens. IB might be somewhere in the middle, I think. Just because he's so forward with the fact he's still Qunari, it makes me think he's expecting us.

I think Blackwall will practically volunteer. Don't we encounter him alone on the road or something? I seem to remember that from SC's interview. 

 

Supposedly, they've made it so the companions aren't easy to miss this time around, like Isabela or Leliana.

Also, I think Cole will be at the Big Blast which I believe will kill Rhys and Evangeline... and he will have been following the inquisitor for some time before finally revealing himself.

They said there wouldn't be Acts this time around. So you could end up getting one of them a little later in the game depending on when/where you go.
