I'm interested to see some of the unique features we can give our Inquisitor with the CC, since we've not seen anything that stands out about the demo Inquisitor's thus far, certainly not on the level of Shepard's stubble-goatee and (Vanderloo's) hair scar, FemShep's red hair and freckles or Hawke's warpaint and epic beardness for males.

 

And Lola, now you've gotten me thinking that Hawke would be interesting as a Rivaini. I could easily picture Malcolm Hawke as being from Rivain given he's often described as being all dashing and rogueish, coupled with what we know of Rivaini mages being a lot more unconventional than most in Thedas...

 

The skin tone for Rivain colouring in DA2 looks really stunning in certain lights! It took me ages to perfect my canon male Hawke to look just right but once I nailed it, he looked awesome!

 

Here's my Hawke. His name is River (I'm crap with names) and he's a sarcastic mage!:

And then we would all laugh before my Quizzy punches her in the facies, because no one gets to pull Cullen's cord but the Quizzy and now I'm thinking about discreet under the war table shenanigans because we all know that Cassandra's briefs are going to be dreadfully long and bore the crap out of the room and Quizzy will need something to make the day seem a bit brighter.

 

Oh my god. Boom, you genius you.   Under the war table shenanigans.

 

Now I want to write/read a fic where the Inquisitor gets bored during said dreadfully long and boring briefs in the War Room and so decides to play some naughty footsies or handsies under the table with Cullen, who can't do anything at all because to do anything would draw attention to what they're doing (and I mean that in general, because they're trying to be discreet about their relationship). Aaaaaaaaaaaaand cue the hilarity!   The hot UST-laden hilarity. >.>

Right, right! I'm hoping with the new engine/skin textures we'll be able to make characters that aren't catwalk models. I can't wait to see the scars/tattoos this time around and I really want to hope they get freckles and/or moles working for 'em.

 

I think the most important thing is that regardless of how we want our Inquisitors to look, is that they look as customisable and unique as the companions and advisors do. That's something I hated with DA:O and DA2 is that with the vanilla game it was really hard to make a protagonist that didn't just look like a copy/paste npc. Never managed it with DA:O until I had mods and in DA2 for the life of me I couldn't make a unique female Hawke without using the default appearance... took me ages to get my male Hawke to look as unique as the companions but I managed it eventually!

There will be much squirming! Of both the sexy kind and the awkward and embarrassed "oh Maker what are you doing why are you doing it here in the War Room during a meeting of all the plac----that actually feels goo-- no! stop that what if someone sees... Andraste's flaming teats Varric is smirking at me from across the table you stop that right now " kind

That's do-able, if they are sitting next to each other close enough, or if they're both leaning over the war room table looking at the map and your Inquisitor's hand could "accidentally" brush past his, er, sensitive area a few times. Then all she'd have to do is gauge his reaction and maybe tease him a bit. *Cue the end of the meeting* everyone's leaving and as the Inquisitor goes leave too Cullen's all like "oh no you don't!" And then you can add in the rest LOL!

Like, as he's leaning over the war room table looking at the map and all that boring stuff with the others she could brush past him as she walks past, tracing her fingers across the small of his back, which would obviously get his attention that she'd done something like that in the first place, wondering if it was purposely done or a mere accident, then you could have her settle in next to him and casually look at the map, and then lean over towards him as she "moves a marker" and with her other hand subtly have her cop-a-feel whilst doing so, LOL!

Yeah, I'm not going to do it now because it is half 1 in the morning and that's a terrible time to try and write. And I have a very small piece on the go concerning Cullen but that should be finished soon.

Personally I'd like to see them play out in different areas depending on the LI and his/her personality. Kinda like I expected Isabela's love scene with Hawke to take place outside and Anders' one to take place in the Chantry right below the statue of Andraste, just to p!ss off the religious folk, LOL!

That just reminded me of something! My boyfriend had a customer in the other day and whilst he was tattooing him the guy mentioned that he was a gamer and was really looking forward to Dragon Age (I think my poor bf probably groaned having had me bend his ear about it non-stop for years, LOL!) But anyway, they got into a conversation about the game and he told the guy about the Cullen thread and said "I dunno how you feel about Cullen, but I'm pretty sure one of the main reasons he made it into in a big way as a LI is due to my girlfriend and the Cullenites campaigning for it". I laughed when he told me.
