I've always loved how Cassandra is a conspiracy nut who tends to believe that everything is a complicated web of intrigue and would see a dark plot behind five pigeons laying dead on the floor... when it's actually just something completely innocuous like "they ate rice" or random like "they flew into a window as someone opened it".

 

And people say that Cullen is paranoid!

Yeah, although in both of their cases, I can't really blame them for being paranoid after what they've been through, truth be told.

You know what's interesting? She mentioned transgender characters. I... have a couple of doubts that she knows about Mae, unless she's into the franchise and checked out the comics. So that could be a possible little slip for a character we run into?

I noticed that. It made me vaguely recall them saying there was a transgender character in DAI, (who probably won't be Mae (unfortunately)). Wouldn't mind them being male too. I honestly can't think of a single fictional male transgender character.

Now see, I see it as sort of natural. Hawke was in the 'right place at the right time' all the time in one city over a period of YEARS-- or 'worst place at the worst time' depending on your view, and all her information was received second hand. So it's easy to consider something more is going on there.

 

And someone falls out of the fade and is the only survivor of what appears to be a massacre while a breach opens up overhead? I would hope she's suspicious!
