I agree. Maybe you don't have to be a 'fan' though, just really do your research. I remember that story Gaider told on his tumblr about Rick Wasserman, the Arishok's VA, who got into a lengthy argument with the director over how a line should be interpretted just because he understood the Qun and the Qunari so well.
Why do I suspect it was the line when the Arishok rants that "Fixing your mess is not a demand of the Qun and you should all be grateful!"? That line definitely can be interpreted a number of ways, but I always saw it less of the Arishok making a veiled threat and more of simply venting to Hawke in frustration and informing them that if/when the Qunari invade Thedas, they won't sit around. It will be obvious to everyone what they're there for.
And Rick Wasserman's performance totally showed that he got the Arishok and the Qunari completely, it's part of why I always enjoyed Hawke's interactions with the Arishok and seeing those two cultures and personalities clash.

Huh. I was just thinking about a comment that Jennifer Hale made about recording something for DA:I, something about a ground-breaking character, can't remember exactly what she wrote. There was some speculation in the twitter thread that she was referring to a transgender person.
Do we know who Viv's VA is?

I think it would be an awesome dynamic to have a trans companion.
I'm all for it!
My pride at being a BioWare fan would start to reach truly obnoxious levels!

I hate that it's going to take so long for me to romance Cassandra. I have to hope she's race gated so I'll save time on crafting her perfect Inquisitor. Race selection will be one of the longest part of the process after all.

As for transgender person, we have no context or evidence for that speculation at all. Hale could be playing Empress Celene.

I totally agree with you that that was the line. I love how frustrated the Arishok is there. I know we're meant to be intimidated, but I can't help but feel sorry for the guy. Trapped in a place that represents everything you stand against for years on end? I'd go crazy and chop off the Viscount's head too.

You know, guys, now I want to see all 3 advisors singing and dancing Disney style. I think someone said Cassandra's VA sings too? All hail the Singuisition!
Ooooh, would there be birds and small woodland creatures singing along with them? i would pay to see that.

Miranda Raison did some singing in the Doctor Who episode "Daleks in Manhatten" when she played Tallulah, the New York chorus-girl.
(And despite that character and episode annoying the heck out of me, she really can sing!)

Maybe it's silly, but I kind of like the fact that she and Freddie are super fans who play the games. I feel like they will be able to give their all to their roles, that they'll have such a core understanding of who their character is in the world.
That is an excellent point. I AGREE. ![]()

Yeah I felt so bad for her because her cosplay was FANTASTIC.
REALLY Hope she doesn't get bullied again but you know how this fandom is. ![]()

I second the singing part but Disney is too cheerful. I would rather go with something like "The rains of castamere"
.

I love it when voice actors are also fans and play the games. And I think it's really awesome that Allegra posted in the Josephine thread. Her poor fans had to wait so long, not only for Joesphine's announcement but for her proper name as well.

Really?

Misread that as "Trains of Castamere". Choo-choo. I should probably go to sleep. In the fridge. Overheating is bad.

Argh, I keep forgetting I can romance Sera! Don't get me wrong, I think it'll be an interesting arc and everything, but already I can only see her as a friend. It'll take me a while for me to romance her too.

So this magazine that is not available in my country, where they said Cullen is the knight-captain of the templars, I understand the person who wrote the article got to see Emprise du Lion? With snow, red lyrium, and all that stuff? I wonder if that's the demo 2 BioWare will be showing at gamescon. And if yes, then maybe we will see some Cullen? ![]()

Maybe your hand only glows near fade tears, like Bilbo's sword Sting glows when orcs are nearby.
Watch the demo part 2. Your hand glows as soon as the tear is visible.

At 1st I got the same feeling about Cass, as in I see her more like a friend, but then after i read more of her (and ofc her movie and everything) Idk it just made me like her even more, I'm sure that once you get to know her better in game perhaps you will change your mind? Atm I kinda feel like that about Viv, but to be fair I think I rather know more about her in-game before I make any more "judgements"
Funny tho, before they started announcing every character and before we knew who our companions are gonna be I thought I would have no one to romance this time around... and then BOOM news hits and now I just pretty much want to romance EVERYONE!!! Lol

A little of both. And if people weren't so rude to us everywhere else in this forum we'd be able to discuss off topic stuff in the correct threads, but alas, the BioWare forums are full of twats.

She is a fan, a huge fan! Don't you remember all her Isabela cosplay? Hell, the reason why Qunari-bela was invented in the comics was due to her cosplay of it!
