Hmm, eye of the beholder and all that Just looks like armor to me. Only thing "feminine" about is that we know a woman wore it. I'd say it simply gives him better range of movement... more of medium than heavy armor class.

Haha, nah, you're right. My eyes are clouded with the knowledge of a woman wearing previously. Though even with the normal Templar armour (helm included) I could always tell which NPC was a female out of the group. They just had the tiny difference in the shape of the armour that made it look more feminine than the men's.

I actually wouldn't be bothered by this-- I wasn't even bothered by Slave!Fenris. It can happen in game/has happened in game and I'm so used to exploring darker story alternatives on my own, that I guess I'm pretty hard to bother when it comes to this kind of thing. Just so long as it doesn't happen in game proper.

 

I mean I wasn't HAPPY or excited about it, but I shrugged and moved on as soon as I saw it. *scratches chin*

I don't think the armor is necessarily feminine, but they've given him a very narrow waist and wide hips. HoDA Cullen's sporting an hourglass figure.
