My daughters got me hooked on the DA games last summer when I mentioned I wanted to try something besides a MMORPG (they start grilling me on what I want in new games whenever XMas and birthday approaches). I love the depth of the stories and characters and I got a kick out of finding the inspiration in Arthurian and romance literature for some events and people. I'm particularly interested in Cullen and Leliana in DA:I because it's fun to see characters mature and change.

(please don't take it the wrong way but im just curious about something) I see some artists usually  draw their characters with red noses... is that a thing now? Cause to *me* it just makes them look like they have a cold.. or is it  that they are blushing?

Just my opinion, but I think the redness is often a way of just adding some natural tonal variation/added depth to the skin. Like, red could mean: chilly weather, broken capillaries, drunkenness, blushing, rosacea, sun exposure, etc. I know that I have some natural redness (pinkness, actually) across the bridge of my nose.

Thanx for the answer guys, and I apologize if my question came as... well... offensive to some artists , but I don't really draw my self, so idk what was the reason behind it.

I have recently started seeing  a few artists on deviantart , and they have stuff that is not necessarily DA related just random  stylized characters and they ALL have bright red noses, and i was curios if that is "in trend"  for artists now
