Remember the spit take vid? I'm expecting silly!
I don't know if that was actual lines from the game or if that was just some sort of impromptu skit, lol.

There better be spit taking in Inquisition or I'mma be disappoint!
I can't recall, do the authors of Champions and Heroes allow us to post them on here or not?
The latest one featuring Cullen got me thinking I'd support that for the next game...
I like that idea. Cullen should have his own game. Jacob did, on iPhone. I'd rather play a "Dress Cullen" game than that Heroes of Dragon Age game, which is trying to rob me off all my money for nothing (and failing, btw).
Edit for a doodle. I only have this one, of Cullen with my kid (she's a huge fan):

As long as my quizy, has the option to spit water when she hears something shocking and shout "incredulous",I'm happy! xD
But even though I don't really think that would be the case,I wouldn't like my protagonist to sound like a bamf 24/7.After all, it's not like the Inquisitor got this position bcause of his/her leadership skills. It's because of the glowing hand.Personally,I'd love to have a clueless inquisitor playthrough.
LOL, I dunno about my Inquisitor but I know I'll be clueless during my first playthrough! ![]()
I'd love to be able to play my Inquisitor as someone that's just winging it because she doesn't have the faintest idea how to lead, and then it just turns out that she's a natural at it or something, lol.
I hope so too! I also hope that the Inquisitor voice options don't always sound commanding and strong since I'm hoping their voices will soften when they're just having normal conversations or displaying weakness etc, I don't wanna be BAMF 24/7, lol.
I agree that I hope there's a range, whichever voice we choose - but I also hope the transition is a bit smoother than it was in DA2. I enjoyed playing direct/aggressive Hawke because I love playing a badass woman - but every time I asked a question, or wanted to *gasp* be nice to my friends or lover (or just wanted to avoid a line I knew was going to make me sound like a total d*bag), it sounded incredibly jarring - like suddenly I was a completely different person. Or just crazy.
My favorite moment was when I met Merrill - there I was playing 20 questions because as a player I want to know, and my character wants to know who she's being saddled with and what she's about - and then I'm all "we don't have time to stand here and chat!" in this really snappish voice. Which would have been awkward enough... But then I had Bethany there - "don't mind my sister - she's better at stabbing things than conversation." I'll say
I just hope our neutral/conversational voice actually suits whichever tonal variation we go with. Alix did hint at something like that, so I'm optimistic, but... I still worry a bit. Especially when it comes to our flirt lines...

I'd love to see Cullen being the protagonist of a noir detective story set during his time in Kirkwall. It'd be fun to see maybe a fresh off the boat and still squeaky-clean Cullen confronting the grittier parts of Kirkwall as he gets involved in a mystery subplot, or see what he was doing during Act 3 when he'd matured a little more and seen his share of the weirdness of the city.
While I know he's not a typical noir protagonist, (he's no Bigby Wolf for sure), it'd be fun to see him in that genre, confronted with some femme fatales (could you imagine him dealing with Isabela) or allow us to see some of Hawke's companions from an outsider's perspective?
And it'd be interesting to know how he knows Anders. Replaying Act 2, I noticed that he recognised Anders as a mage, but did nothing to apprehend him? You'd assume he might have recognised him from Ferelden, but did he leave him alone because he either knew Anders was helping the refugees (Seneschal Bran visiting his clinic implies that Anders is apparently a well-known secret) or he didn't want to deal with the red-tape from the trying to arrest a Warden?
*Tin foil hat time*
By the way, I saw that picture on tumblr, it's absolutely adorable! I'd love to see Cullen interact with kids in the game, he'd either be great with kids or just completely lost and adorkable.
I think I'm in the minority because my first inquisitor is going to be pretty serious and in his late 20s/early 30s... I originally intended to have him be a lot younger, but then when we first heard the male voice I freaked out as you all know
and then ended up wrapping my headcanon around that voice, so ironically, I can't go back now!
My second quizzy will be more happy-go-lucky and "Hey, I'm just wingin' this sh!t, don't mind me!"
That's the Iron Bull romance, nothing but boatloads of fun
I'll use Jon Curry's voice I guess, although I'd dearly love to hear how he is in-game; he sounds so spritely as Zevran, but when I think about it, it's a low voice.
Third planned quizzy will be aggressive biatch Trevalyan, probably using Alix's voice.
Fourth quizzy is a more relaxed Cadash, using the other lady voice.

Cadaaaash~
I don't know who my first Inquisitor will be yet. I do plan to have all kinds of characters, though. The majority will just be snarky because I personally enjoy snark. It makes me smile. ![]()
I do have at least one girl who is already planned who will be mostly a sweetie with just a hint of sass, though. She'll be the character I base on Asami Sato from Legend of Korra, because I love that girl and she's the only thing that keeps me watching. ![]()

Mmmm... Bigby Wolf. ![]()
I imagine that we will get the next gameplay video like we did this past week. Gamescom next week will be the big info dump.Do you guys think they will start releasing info again this week in prep for gamescom kinda like how they did for E3? I hope they release videos of the other voice actors too as I really want to hear them so I can start planning my inquisitors

Man I actually really don't want to know anymore story stuff. Even skills and the like I'd prefer to discover in-game. All I want them to do is round out the LI situation and I'll be good to go.

For sure! They've already started teasing that it's only 10 days away!

Yeah yesterday (?) there was that teaser with Solas and possibly Blackwall.

It's definitely starting to get a bit storyline-spoilery, that's for sure! I'd like to hear more about what we can do with our Skyhold, take a look at the character creator, get the names of these last two love interests along with who will romance what gender/race, find out Cullen's last name and maybe learn about how the advisors actually work in terms of quests because that's still not been made particularly clear. Beyond that I think I'm pretty much good to wait.
*Edit* for ALL the auto-correct errors, lol!

Really?! From who??

Oh crap yes I forgot about CC... I definitely need to see that! Need to know what I've got to work with
I will not be a happy gamer if it's yet another round of buzzcuts and monk heads ![]()

Ahh it was tweeted by Cameron I think??
Oh! Saw that, didn't realise the one in front was Solas though, LOL! Interesting though...

Ahh it's just a guess but looks him, don't you think?!
I agree. I would like the remaining LI's, the CC and to find out the reamaing voice actors
and maybe a video about the advisors and how they work ... Plus the Greg Ellis video. My god I need to go find Santa's knee and be 5
I don't wanna lot, Santa, just these 10-15 very specific Dragon Age-related things ![]()
