That's Knight-Captain Cullen on my screenshot. I've never seen Alistair in HoDA. Cullen looks more like himself than Bethany, imho. Like his DAO version.

I was totally a Chakotay girl all the way. I disliked Chakotay/Seven because it had zero development and was just thrown in, why they threw away the development they'd been giving Chakotay/Janeway forever I have no idea. It especially stung when they passed over that development just to give her a holo-deck relationship. D:

I also totally shipped him with B'Elanna, but I really didn't like Tom except when he was interacting with Harry.

Tuvok was also a favourite! I geeked the hell out when I heard him as Zathrian. And of course I geeked out when I heard Janeway as Flemeth!

Hello fellow major Trekkie like whoa! I get you. That almost exactly how it is for me. I only really liked Tom when he was interacting with Harry. And sometimes Neelix. Loooved Tuvok (not THAT way) and was sooo burned up at the dismissal of J/C. But I would have been fine with B/C as well. Had J/C been dismissed for B/C, I could have gotten over it. It made sense too. But 7/C? No. Just no.

This kind of makes me wonder... Since this is the Cullen thread and I'm trying to stay on topic, it occurs to me that our Inquisitors could possibly be an ill fit for LIs. Like is there a way to play that really doesn't jive with IB or Dorian or Cullen, just to name a few? Is it possible to play the game in a way where your chosen LI has no absolutely NO interest in return? In DAO, you could still get an LI's approval high enough for romance even if you made every decision they wouldn't - with a notable exception for Alistair and Leliana. Maybe I'm a masochist but I kind of like the idea that the way I choose to play may put off certain members of my party enough that we don't become friends or romances but can still work together.

I think it will be possible this time around, at least for the companions, because the devs have spoken about approval being tied to decisions instead of gift giving/meta gaming the hell out of their conversations. I'm not so sure for the advisors, though, seeing they've said their approval will work differently again.

I have been thinking about how in DA2, Cullen mentions knowing The Warden and I really like how he refers to her just as an Amell without making any reference to her being The Warden. It shows a humbleness in that he is happy with remembering her just as she was in the circle and in no way advertising that he knew The Hero of Ferelden to get points from anyone. Yay for Cullen!

Or maybe he just didn't want to answer questions like, "You knew The Hero of Ferelden, you say. Never met the likes of her again, hmm. And just how well did you know her?" *eyebrow waggle*

I watched the first episode of Voyager two days ago for the first time with my husband.  I was like "That's totally Flemeth!  That's totally Flemeth honey!!"  and he was like "Huh, wha, who?"  And I kept pointing "Janeway!  She's Flemeth!  Flemeth honey!!!"  And then he said "Kate Mulgrew?  You know, you are the wierdest thing ever".

 

And then I was sad.  We have a "dynamic relationship".  NFL playoff time is especially exciting because he is a Seattle fan and I'm a Green Bay gal... "dynamic relationship"  

 

I drew my first head profile a couple of days ago too!  Very exciting!  I am almost ready to draw Cullen!  My drawing has definitely improved... Gala is right, you just gotta keep doing it every day!  Lessons don't hurt either (drawspace.com has free ones if you sign up and there was another site, but I can;t remember the address off the top of my head, and it's on my desktop).  

 

Does anyone know how to edit fanfictions in deviantart?  I am reworking my fiction, and Cullen is going to live, but I need to edit it and it wont let me (pouts).  since Im kind of web tech stupid PM me if you know and are prepared to receive questions

I don't know. Laidlaw said they were in, then retracted that when someone else said "no, but they might be on some presets." I wonder why they are having trouble with them? Josie's look great, and the "going to bang into everything for the sake of fashion" (can't remember her name) lady in your vid has them and hers look great as well.

hmm shouldnt do that, sounds like an error. Should take u right into the same editor you used to post. Works fine for me on chrome, FWIW. Never tried it on mobile, tho.

All indications point to Ferelden. His DAO CHR file says he's Fereldan, and Hawke comments on him sounding like a Fereldan in DA2.

Does Alistair have curly hair? I've never seen the bastard in HoDA. I thought Cullen had his usual ramen hair texture slapped on a slightly different mesh

Figures Cullen would only be in Champion Packs, though. I've always had bad luck with the Champion Packs, so I ended up just going completely free-to-play back in April and using my earned gems in PVP events. Except for that one time I decided to take my chances with the Spring Pack (guaranteed two epics and a legendary) and spent money on some gems, only to get two First Enchanter Orsinos (already had eight from Dalish Challenge) and a Flemeth (she really needs a boost).

 

Oh well. Here's hoping he's part of a PVE event soon.

I have a question. Where was born Cullen? In Ferelden? Free Marches? I try to search in the codex of Dragon Age 2 but there are no informations.....

 

We assumed it was Ferelden since DG once described him as "very Fereldan" but Cullen himself has never directly confirmed where he originates from. Even in DA2 when Hawke says "you sound Fereldan" he replies with "I was stationed there during the Blight" (or something like that) but he never confirms if it's his place of birth.

 

Sooooo, yeah, he could be from anywhere. I guess we won't really have any idea until we get his Surname, that way if it's something like Cullen Du Pomplamoose then we'll know he's likely Orlesian, LOL! And if it sounds English then we still won't really know where in Thedas he's from until he tell us in game. The man is a bit of a mystery!
