I have a question. Where was born Cullen? In Ferelden? Free Marches? I try to search in the codex of Dragon Age 2 but there are no informations.....

 

Ferelden, we all assume as we have no reason to believe otherwise.

Figures Cullen would only be in Champion Packs, though. I've always had bad luck with the Champion Packs, so I ended up just going completely free-to-play back in April and using my earned gems in PVP events. Except for that one time I decided to take my chances with the Spring Pack (guaranteed two epics and a legendary) and spent money on some gems, only to get two First Enchanter Orsinos (already had eight from Dalish Challenge) and a Flemeth (she really needs a boost).

 

Oh well. Here's hoping he's part of a PVE event soon.

 

Alistair's hair looks more like Cullen's style there. Apparently they swapped hairdressers in HoDA.

Honey, I romanced Zev about 50 times in Origins because gay guys had no other options.

I'm saying from an aesthetic standpoint, Alistair is infinitely more attractive. Although in DA2 he got a smaller cameo than Zev, and he looked pretty terrible.

And Zev will probably be in the next game.

Zev WON'T be in the next game. We will get a reference to his romance with the warden, but he won't show up because "there was no more room". 

 

Alistair and Zevran both look terrible in DA2. Don't make me pull out the scrapped Morrigan cameo. 

 

And Zev is pretty freakin' important too...because, you know, he could be the leader of the Antivan Crows - the most powerful assassin guild in Thedas. 

 

And Alistair may be more attractive to you, but Zev is more attractive to me.

Eventually, the games will take us further north, where Zevran's story has ended up so far. Hopefully then, we'll see less of Leliana and Alistair and more of Zevran. In the meantime, I would hope to have Leliana draw Inquisition support from the Crows only if Zevran is alive.

Funnily enough, I had rolled a male in DAO to romance Morrigan but Zevran stole the show. I had to not recruit him to successfully romance Mori. Id love to see him again. *wistful sigh*

Also, re: Zevran and Alistair, I'm replaying DAO on the XBox so my husband's been watching over my shoulder (unlike when I played on the Mac), and he was shocked that Alistair is so much more popular. (EDIT: Possibly due to identifying Alistair as a "dweeb" and Zevran as a cool guy. ) His reaction to Cullen in the Mage Origin, btw: "Wait, you said you can't romance him in this one?" Me: "Right. Why?" Him (sadly): "He just likes you so much!"

I second that. Alistair looked bad enough in DA 2, so I don't think it could be getting any worse  .

I love both Alistair and Zevran equally, they are both great and completely different flavors of romance. I was shocked too when I quickly figured out that Zevran was probably the least popular romance option in DAO :[ As well as a lot of people being very vocal about hating him. He's so hilarious!
