I don't think she looks bad. I mean, yes, everyone had a certain "sameness", but I think she's still recognizably Morrigan.

 

'Course, I also think Alistair looks fine in DA2. Still recognizably Alistair.

Apparently Cullen's DA2 model is what happens when you give only the instruction that he should look clean cut.

See this is why I think they may have been toying with the idea of making him a LI in DA2.  I think it was Gaider in the romance panel (?) from one of the con thingys not sure which, said something about making someone attractive enough that someone would want to romance them. He definitely got better looking in 2, together with some of the conversations with him, the soft words the head tilt that only fem Hawke (male Hawke didn't do it) did out on the wounded coast and his what would you have of me line ...

I think at one point they were thinking about it but decided to leave it out for one reason or another, maybe in favour of giving it better credit in this game.

I just realized that out of all the shots released of our companions and advisers, that Cullen is one out of two that has a bit of a smile on their face, and the other being Varric. I can't wait to see a full blown smile from him in frostbite. Smiling is very important.

New here on the site, but I have lurked on this thread for quite some time. XD

 

I am a huge Cullen fan and I am glad he is in the next game. I admit, I am disappointed he isn't a companion, but an advisor AND love interest? That makes me happy.

I seriously want that so bad! I'm glad that Allan popped in the other day and said that he encountered some wit/sass from Cullen. It has given me hope that we may even be able to get a few laughs out of him. I'm definitely giving him a bit of a sense of humour in my page 3000 fic.

I think he shows some humor during the Wilmod scene when he laughs about the recruits being worse than a weaving circle, and how the biggest danger they face is falling asleep during their vigil. I doubt he's the most hilarious character we'll meet (IRON BULL, FTW!), but he seems to at least have some dry wit.

He actually looked okay in his Grey Warden cameo. His cameo as King is where his face seems off to met, I think. Seeing I doubt they have different models for each cameo of Alistair, I'm going to say the really, really bad lighting in DAII was at least partly to blame for how his face looked off in some shots.
