Believe it or not, yeah, they would lol. I know my brother, for instance, gets all pissed off at 'stupid stuff in the intro' and 'come on can't we skip this bullsh!t and get to the game already?' There are a lot of other players like that who would be annoyed with it lol.

 

Well, I doubt the funeral would be the INTRO. And if your brother considers legit story stuff stupid then I don't know what to say to him. 

 

I have a friend that HATES all the plot/talking in Dragon Age and just wants to get to the hack and slash and it boggles my mind because... they roleplay! HOW can you roleplay and not like the roleplay aspect of a roleplay game?!

Dragon Age is a RPG? You mean I have been throwing my money at the wrong kind of game for years now? I hate RPGs! *cancels pre-order* I will stay in the thread to ogle the Cullen though.

Personally the only way I can see Cullen singing is either at the divine's funeral as people in here suggested already,which would be heartbreaking considering how many people died in that explosion.
Or singing a war song along with his troops or even better our party members,on the eve of the final battle while they all share a last drink etc...Of course, he could also surprise us,by singing a random shanty or something.

Anyways, I think we should put this whole 'funeral/song' discussion to rest. We're not going to get anywhere without anymore information. All we can say is that it can go any way, and that some people will be annoyed with how either is handled regardless.

Speculation,is one of my favourite aspects of the forums.Even if we end up getting it all wrong in the end,guessing what might happen is still a fun thing to do.

Speculation,is one of my favourite aspects of the forums.Even if we end up getting it all wrong in the end,guessing what might happen is still a fun thing to do.

I love to speculate but I generally do it on the deep end of ridiculousness so I know that there would never be a chance of any of it ever being in the game.

Yeah but I get scared about what happens when people head cannon something too hard. Thus far, the results haven't been pretty and I don't want to get in too deep with risking losing people all over again. (Still wanting old friends to come back)

Yeah, I like to hear what other people think is going on in the game. Elu's theory on Flemmeth for example, is awesome and now I'm totally on the "Flemmeth The Puppeteer" bandwagon!

I was re-watching part 2 of the demo and it occurred to me that the Veil Tears in Witch Hunt may have been caused by this Elder One. Perhaps it was even trying to prevent anyone from finding Morrigan. I'd bet good money that it was also the shadow referenced by Eleni Zinovia.

Hahaha, high five! Whatever the situation is, I hope that it is done well. I think the only time I have really been moved by some unexpected singing is in the Battlestar Galactica episode where Gaeta sings.

Same, I hope it's done well but I will say I would prefer if it's on more of a personal level (like for/to the quizzy or around Skyhold) than a funeral for the Divine etc.

Whatever ever it is though, if it's done well I'll be happy.

 

I also found Leli's singing in DAO awkward and I think I ESC out of it each time lol
