I guess this means Skyhold will have its own chantry then.

I'm wondering if the Chantry was already a part of the structure before we came to claim Skyhold.

I tried lighting it up a little to see if there was anything hidden:
I noticed a pile of wood in the corner... but that's about it. I don't think this is skyhold, it looks pretty worn down.

It looks like Therinfal Redoubt. Similar architecture.

But seriously though, I suspect that's like super early on when we've first got the Skyhold and it's all falling around our ears 'n' stuff. They did say we have to decorate it and stuff.

It would be cool to have to fix the place up a bit before we decorate in earnest. Nobody is going to take the Inquisition seriously if they hole up like rats in a decrepit ruin.

But tbh, i would totally be down w/ a ramshackle Keep that gets upgraded as we progress thru the game. i like that kinda thing.

 

I kind of want to be allowed to keep some of it run-down, simply because I've always loved ruined castles.

 

I'd pay extra for an option to customise our Keeps with a crumbling, lop-sided shack like Flemeth's hut right in the middle of the beautiful castle? I want to see the Inquisitor doing all sorts of formal banquets and dinners with their people, then retiring to a complete hovel at the end of the day.

 

Inquisitor: So Cullen, would you like to see my living quarters?

Cullen: Maker no! That shack of yours is filthy!

Inquisitor: It's not that bad!

Cullen: According to the maids, you have crickets living under your bed!

Inquisitor: _{*grumbles*  At this rate, it's the only bouncing that bed gets to have...}

Well, that's what I mean by decorating. Fixing it and making it look presentable etc.

Are you telling me that expansive looking bed with the clean sheets was already there when they discovered the place?

 

Or did Cullen carry it all the way from Kirkwall to Skyhold in his inventory.

Right? I like that his trademark facial hair is a bit more prominent in this pic too. I am so not prepared for flirty Cullen, not even in the slightest. My lips are prone to slip right off my face at the speed I'll be smirking.

I'm curious as to whether or not a Dalish protagonist will have the ability to profess their faith in the Creators and have the advisors/companions react to that. I don't think Cass would give a f*ck, but I could see Leli and Cullen possibly having an issue.
