So... Cullen's bed room. Without a functioning roof and green crap growing through the walls. Anyone else feel like this might another random "thing" cameo... and they just put one of those fancy, DA2 Chantry beds in some random room in Therinfal Redoubt... and just added Cullen? I mean,  he looks again like he's floating on top of another background, like his profile page pic. It's just really ... curious room dressing.

I guess it's just because I know it's just the first hand made smaller, so I can't help but associated with the image of the guy so it just looks really off to me. *shrug*

LOL Thanks! Those were awfully fun. I'd been wanting to continue the story of Cullen and Marian Hawke and birth and death of their world hopping fling... but no good pics of our Inquisitor yet...

To be honest, I'd prefer to see more pictures of him acting natural, like that one of him raising his sword to the sky and his profile pic of him looking broody. Don't get me wrong, those "staged" pictures of him looking like a smug bastard are nice, but it doesn't really portray his personality... especially if that interview with his writer is anything to go by.

And about the pic: I love it but I agree that it looks a bit staged. I don't mind though. But if they had put it up for "research" (grin), why should they hide it somewhere in the depths of Origin where not so many people might see it? So, I think it was just some marketing move.

I thought they'd only done that because Varric's face model had been tweaked and improved since the first picture was taken. I'd say, if anything it'll be Cassandra and Morrigan's pictures that'll get updated. That being said, more pictures of all the characters need putting up anyway.

Awkward Stage Scrawny Cullen with glasses and braces. Big unruly noodle hair that predates his discovery of men's hair gel. Short sleeved Izod polo shirt with the collar flipped up. I really want to see this now! 

 

Ya, know if they're going to paste Cullen into random backgrounds they should at least photoshop him in with celebrities for lol's. Mingling at a party with Flemeth. Throwing the ball around with the Arishok. Chillin' backstage with Van Halen....

 

Edit: One of you handy people should shop Cullen and GE in a bro pose! LOL

I don't know about Varric's tweaked face model but what you wrote makes sense to me.

 

And yes, some of the characters need urgently some more pictures! Iron Bull, Sera, Blackwall, Cassandra, Morrigan, Vivienne and Josephine have all got just one picture on the Dragon Age website.
