...there's also a reason he doesn't work for them anymore...
Besides, some could argue it already disappeared when Lambert broke the Nevarran Accord.
Absolutely.
Do I think Cullen will likely continue to serve the Maker in some way? Given that we know NOTHING about anyone's arc in Inquisition, really, I'll go ahead and say, yeah, probably.
But we really have NO IDEA what he's going to be like at the end of the game yet. ![]()
As for the Templar Order itself...well, at the beginning of the game it's not going to be like it was, thanks, at the very least, to Lambert, and Anders, and Meredith, so I I don't know why it would be like it was at the end of the game. /mytwocents
I hope Cullen returns to the Templar Order after the war :/ They need good people in their ranks.
Besides, experienced Templars aren't exactly common place.
I hope he runs off with a certain Inquisitor instead... ![]()
ETA: Cullen!

I have a feeling if the Order is resurrected, it will be under Cullen's watchful leadership. And there will be changes. For the better. Unless I can convince him to live with me in a secluded cottage somewhere in between adventures....

Which we don't know the reason of yet, for all we know the Kirkwall Templar Order doesn't effectively exist anymore. Do to A. A Massive Personal loss and the dissolving of their regional leadership or more likely B, them being recalled to fight the war under the banner of the Seekers.
Pfft, Them abandoning the church that betrayed to take up their original Mandate? No, Only those of a certain perspective would label the order as "gone" when it merely returned to it's original purpose.
Hi Guys,
This is completely irrelevant to Cullen but I know there are a few Simmers among us and having just seen the last venue from the sims store in all it's magnificence I have to share......and gush (the gushing part is most important
)
If you are still interested in Sims 3 stuff then go and check out the Amore venue, it's freaking beyond incredible, it's like fantasy Venice complete with gondolas. I am overwhelmed with admiration for those that created this.
Also, Cullen would look great in a gondola, there NEEDS to be a gondola specific quest line in DAI.......they could borrow the stage from their sims 3 colleagues. ![]()
Note my late desperate search for relevancy!
I have a feeling if the Order is resurrected
I have a feeling, it will have no need for Resurrection personally, the Mages picked their enemy well when they declared war upon Thedas, i will give them that.
Fighting an order specifically trained and taught how to fight Mages.
Even if the PC cannot lead the Templars to victory in the war, i still have a decent feeling of their chances to win.
Unless I can convince him to live with me in a secluded cottage somewhere in between adventures....

Sadly BioWare doesn't seem content to let us headcanon happily ever afters with our beloveds, or well, at least it didn't work with Origins *all my tears* but maybe if we're lucky we won't encounter our DA2 love interest wandering around solo with no earthly idea or concern for where Hawke even is *snort*
It really would be great if, after DAI, for once our PC and his/her honey could have a happily ever after, sigh.
I hope he runs off with a certain Inquisitor instead...
I wouldn't object to that.
Also I wanted to add that if anyone is interested I have 670 sims store credits left in my account that I can't use because they're not releasing any further content and I already own the entirety of the store soooo if one of our lovely Cullenites would like them send me a PM with your sims details and I'll gift them to you.
These points are absolutely useless to me and I would like to know that someone great got something they liked with them. ![]()
I'm not sure I quite follow your argument here, but it seems we are perhaps saying the same thing... The Templar Order is potentially a very different thing come the end of DA:I, and we know nothing about any of the ways in which it will be different. There are no Circles at the start of the game, let alone what might happen by the end, so it's unknown what kind of jailers or guardians one might even need. So seems premature to me to assume he'll just return to "it" when we don't even know what "it" is.Which we don't know the reason of yet, for all we know the Kirkwall Templar Order doesn't effectively exist anymore. Do to A. A Massive Personal loss and the dissolving of their regional leadership or more likely B, them being recalled to fight the war under the banner of the Seekers.

Bite your tongue!
Last I knew (from Alistair's visit to Hawke in DA2) my canon Warden is still married to him and they are still in love. Until they show me differently (cause I'm stubborn like that) I will continue to assume that this is how it is. Meanwhile, my canon Hawke and Anders have safely absconded to parts unknown, where in my head they help the mages, run a clinic, and solve random people's problems...oh, and enjoy their domestic bliss during the lulls in the action.
LOL

I don't recall stating i assumed as such, i said i hoped he did, because he would be useful there.
Perhaps you should reread the post.
Like I said, it's sounds like we're on the same page then. It's all good.I don't recall stating i assumed as such, i said i hoped he did, because he would be useful there.

Yeah, I've just read this. There's a thread in the Mass Effect 3 forum.
Yeah, he announced it on Twitter earlier. There's a blog post about it 'n' everything.WHAT

Thank you, although I ended up googling it as soon as I posted. :S Read the blog post and a couple of mostly identical articles.
Welp, I don't really know what to think, although this isn't the thread for it in any case. Thanks for posting about it!
Perhaps people shouldn't read more into the text then what it simply is.
Or Perhaps people shouldn't assume intent period.
