What's the sense of giving her a temp-ban for that, it's one of the lamest and mildest swears in the entire English language? Honestly, it's more funny than offensive? If it was so bad, it should've already been on the list of censorable words?

Good afternoon, hoping everyone is well The sun is shining here (Scotland) today, although I hear we are to get the tail end of Hurricane Bertha tomorrow, the water is too cold here for an official hurricane but we've to be lashed by heavy rain and high winds .

 

You know that old saying "You learn something new everyday"? Well, I just did lol I just realised I have a Twitter account that I created in 2009 O.o, I must have had a brain-fart, I dont remember creating it although I am following a massive 6 people on it.... I think lol.

I logged on and it's like a minefield, not sure what I'm supposed to do with it now I have it lol I posted the recommended 1st Tweet, I reckon that's a start. I am sooo backwards with technology it's embarrassing

 

That sketch of Cullen is really sweet, some people are so talented, we are lucky to have so many here I don't think I could sketch a decent stick-man

Oh, you're from Scotland. I lived one year in Aberdeen when I was doing a Voluntary Year of Social Service back in my youth  . Loved the country  . 

And believe or not, I created a twitter account in 2010. I had to re-tweet something for a contest. Then I never used it again until recently . mainly to discuss haircolors . So it serves it's purpose somehow but I still don't get the appeal of twitter. Maybe you have to use it regularly... ?

The antagonist being a Greater Pride Demon has been on of my hypotheses ever for years. 

 

It'd make sense, as the Pride Demons we've fought before (even on the harder difficulties) have gone down way too easily for how powerful they are supposed to be given their status as the mac-daddy of demons.

 

A Desire Demon tormented Redcliffe with an army of undead, while a Demon of Sloth managed to trap us in multiple nightmare realms... yet at no point in any of the games have we seen a Pride Demon do anything close to that powerful? They simply seem content to monologue at us?

 

Hawke's reaction to Hybris' speechifying in DA2 was telling, looking back at his/her companions like "Can you even believe this guy?"

Yeah, I always kind of wanted Mouse to come back at some point to torment our Mage Warden, maybe as a special encounter, because it seemed like a plot-thread that never really resolved.

 

I never saw Demon!Uldred as being the same one we met in the Fade, as he came across as far more egotistical and arrogant than Mouse was, who rather than overt promises of power went for a more subtle and insidious seduction of the Mage Warden during their Harrowing. Unlike Demon!Uldred's mocking contempt of the Mage Warden for being a teacher's pet to Irving, Mouse's closing remarks to you actually seemed to have a certain respect (and dare I say, even pride) for your ability to fight him off... at least for now.

 

If you haven't already, I'd check out the multi-Warden fic "All Roads to Denerim", which features Mouse in a prominent role as antagonist.

 

(And Dominic Keating did an amazing job at voicing Mouse, I kind of want to see him back as either Mouse or another Pride Demon in human form. While I know it was a minor role, I was surprised that he wasn't credited at all in Origins, anyone know why?)

Man, I liked Mouse. Mouse was interesting! I would totally be all for that Pride Demon turning up and being a big bad in Inquisition. 

 

And I'll have to check that out! I don't normally read fanfic very often, but Mouse? Colour me intrigued!

Thanks! I'm having an amazing time, the locals have generally treated me like a princess and been so helpful, my incredibly broken Italian is getting a little better every day. We've had to nix our plans for visiting Mt Etna though, at 85 euros each it's not really in our budget now that we have a baby to get ready for. There will be other times though, I hope, I'd happily come back!
