Yes he does, found it:

Awww! Precious bby Carver! I always make him a Grey Warden. But, I don't want him to die early because of the Taint. (It will probably never be mentioned but I think these things out. XD) And that reminded me how awesome it was the first time seeing that scene. I didn't think much of Cullen before that but that made me go, "Whoah! Good for you dude! You turned in to a bad@ss!"

Also, it is almost Gamescon! *pterodactyl noises ensue* (go to bed self, you're too tired to post)

Also also, I am stuck to my phone since my computer finally malfunctioned. No posting more Cullen GIFS for me. (For now)

I'm new! Just recently made an actual profile on here. :) Nice to meet you!

And it's hard to say what was fueling Meredith. The bad thing about the Red Lyrium is...we don't know EXACTLY what it is beyond it's lyrium and apparently anti-magic, if I heard right. I always thought it was just lyrium in pure, raw form. Didn't think it was Red Lyrium until recently. So, it's hard to say, from my end.

I kinda like him as a templar - it's just so insane given his apostate family. But it's also nice that there is one more non-mage hater in the Order. And it seems both siblings like it better than being Wardens, though I guess it's more true for Bethany.

And yeah, that's the moment (minus Carver in my game) I finally took notice of Cullen :) It is a bit sad that in that scenario Cullen loses that line and that Carver doesn't get one of his own.

Spoiler

Oh okay lol I didn't really see that as "stealing" it; after all, Cullen simply stands beside him and agrees, "And me." Still a BAMF. It makes sense that Hawke's brother would step up first in that instance.

I had a thought on something...I wonder how Cullen is gonna talk about the Mage Warden, whether chiming in if she/he is brought up by Leliana or Morrigan or even during a talk with the Inquisitor...one thing I like is how some characters mentioned them on a personal level. Like he did in Act 2, or Merrill talking about the Dalish Elf. But in this, knowing that the Warden has disappeared and if you choose a mage, I wonder how he may talk about the situation in that regard. Or even in depth, about his feelings for the female mage.

Awww! It was really cool to see Cullen still joining ranks beside Carver, though. ^_^

Actually Carver LOVES the Wardens. It takes him a little while to realise, but he ends up finding real purpose in it. So no, he is very much happy as a Warden. I generally make him a Warden and make sure I get onto his friendship route, and that just seems like the best subplot for his character. <3

Templar!Carver is okay too, but Carver definitely isn't unhappy with the Wardens.

Oh good to know, thanks :) I haven't played a game with him as a GW and a friend yet.

I will :) Also to bring this back on topic, I really want to play a female mage and flirt with Cullen, but sadly my laptop isn't up to gaming these days.

I prefer Carver as a Templar, if only because it's so much HIS choice.  Versus his brother yet again choosing for him, when he's made a Grey Warden.  And, no, I can't tolerate the idea of Carver dying to the taint.  Too much sad in that course.

The only thing I worry about when it comes to romance with an advisor is not having them in the party -sadface- I want Cullen with my mage female all the time XD

He either dies of the taint or eventually loses himself to lyrium addiction. It's a bad future, either way. And I don't see how 'Hawke chose' the Grey Wardens for Carver. It was bad luck with the Darkspawn, luck at having Anders there and Hawke choosing to honour how Carver wanted to come into the deep roads that makes Carver a Grey Warden.

Sorry but I have to ask, why don't u think CullenxCass won't be good for one another? Is it because they might be to similar? Because similarity in characteristics can often be a very good thing.. like if they are on the same lvl/ and/or have same ideas and whatnot, they are both protective ppl they both share the same views, yes Cass seems to be much more of a strong woman , and maybe Cullen seems to be the type of person who isn't that... "aggressive"? But imo I think Cass  would be a very good match for him I think they can balance each other out quite nicely

It's a mix of might be too similar (though we don't really know much about both) and Cass being (in my opinion) too aggressive/impulsive for him.
Granted, I'd be fine if they romance each others in the case the PC won't. My opinion is based on incomplete info, and I don't care if Cullen would fall for Cass (if anything I'll be happy. The man needs some love ).
On Carver, I vastly prefer him as a GW for his growth in this scenario.

I'd say he would probably mention Amell like he did in DA:2 but I don't think it would be in the same wistful "I had/have feelings for her" way that he did.

I'd rather hear Cullen mentioning things about Kirkwall, Hawke and the companions that we didn't get to hear from him, new insights about what he thought about it/them during the whole thing and looking back. But if he mentions the mage Warden, I hope they add something to it. Maybe he can mention any Warden and talk about his experience in the Broken Circle quest instead.

Don't get me wrong, I really don't want to spend too much time with Cullen discussing the warden but I doubt it would be left out because there are a lot of Cullen/Warden fans out there and plus it would be kind of weird if he didn't mention Amell at all but personally, I'd much rather discuss the events of Kirkwall with him and of course get a more indepth recount of what happened to him at Kinloch as well as his childhood and why he joined the order. All of that is what has made him the person he is so all of his past is important to me and I can't wait to delve into it.

Plus, Amell was probably his first crush so that may be a fleeting conversation. You can talk about past romantic feelings with previous LI's and in my experience it's the norm thing to do when in a relationship with someone so I don't see any problem if he talks about her in the "past crush" context.

I guess I didn't express myself well, sorry. I don't see any problem about his talking about Amell in the past crush context, I'd just like it better if they did something different with it this time, like tying it to a discussion of his life in the Tower, or the Broken Circle events, or how that crush was difficult to him and made him question some things... You know, more in-depth insight than a passing reference like in DA2. Though the reference was nice.

Bear in mind, y'all, that we still got slammed with a trailer at the Microsoft E3 Press Conference, so don't be surprised if we see one more at the Microsoft Gamescom Conference.

Well considering Inquisition is supposed to be there.... I'd say it's a safe bet!
