You might not want to miss the EA press conference at #gamescom2014 heard there will be awesome stuff show right from the start...

Funny. They said that for E3 and Microsoft still dumped a trailer on us out of nowhere. I'm definitely gonna be watching both conferences.

Wow, your dad sounds like my dad. Mine would tell me things like he painted the rainbow and when it was "stand up in front of the class and share what your parents do for a living" day and I say with a big smile, "my Fdaddy paints the rainbow!" Super proud and all cos what a cool job. Needless to say I got laughed at.... a lot. Thanks dad...... you're a real champ.

Lmao! And people wonder why we're a bit odd!

Always blame the parents, that's what they are there for, isn't it?

My parents were the opposite, brutally honest lol.

I wanted to join the school choir......parents "that's lovely sweetheart but you CANT sing"

I was learning to play the violin.....they made me a small space in the garage to practise in

I talk so much that my dad used to ask me to shut-up as I was giving him a headache

So yeah, lets blame the parents for all our little "issues" lol.

I did gymnastics growing up and went through a chubby faze at about seven and one afternoon after training my mum told me I looked like a baby hippopotamus bouncing around the room. Now THAT is brutally honest.

My mum can be like that too. First sign that any of us have put any weight on and we'll know about it from her if we haven't noticed it ourselves!

My dad is the best, so long as his crazy girlfriend isn’t around... Divorced parents and their new partners can be the worst! But not worse than spiders, she doesn’t make me hyperventilate or cry if she gets too close :P Lucky me x)

Lol, harsh, mums are harsh. I actually look back on the memory quite fondly though because one of my older brothers was there at the time and of course he found her saying that to be incredibly funny and didn't stop laughing until she turned on him and told him to stop acting like a big boob (can't use the "t" word) so I always giggle when I think of the scene as a whole. ^_^

Uggghhhh don't even get me on the topic of how horrid divorces can be. I know first hand how damaging it can be, especially when dragged out for over a decade with two small children thrown in the middle of two revenge seeking parents who absolutely /despise/ each other. >.<

....Still think spiders are the worst thing ever, though!! Dx

I like to think that my mum used to be the one who gave me the "reality checks" and looking back I appreciate it, it prepared me well for the world at large ;)

I'm a step-mum (although I despise that title, I'm just their friend), I can tell you, imo, its a tricky occupation lol. No doubt, it was hard on the kids, they were only 2 & 5 at the time, although my husband and I have been together almost 20years so there is stability there now.

However, if I ever see either of the boys coming close with a flame-thrower, I will start to panic lol.

Why do I suddenly get the feeling that Cullen will sneak in spiders into my Quizzy's room just so that she is unable to sleep in her own room and would come whimpering and sobbing to him seeking comfort and cuddles for the rest of the night?

Welcome back Lola!

And as for the discussion about Spiders, my reaction to them tends to be fright, followed by grabbing the nearest broom or shoe I can find and go Scarface on their insectoid backsides, whilst laughing manically... :?

As for Cullen, I suspect that Cullen is far more worried about mages to be afraid of spiders. I mean, what's the worst that can happen with those two fears, the two join forces into some horrifying combination of nightmare fuel? Ha, I'd like to see tha...

LIKE!

I'm a step-mum too but I can safely take the title of just mum for the little scamp as his biological mum moved to Aussie and I have been his primary guardian for the last two years. But when she lived in NZ we had 50/50 custody with her and yeah, it was hard being the "step-mum".

One question: Do you think the others will question the professionalism and ability to not mix business and pleasure with your Quizzy romancing one of the characters? Particularly, if it is with an advisor? I'd imagine that would bring up concern that there would be favorability as a result.

Leliana might bring it up possibly. Josephine might be fine with it. Varric would just think he has new story material. XD

I think so. Actually, I hope so. I will be disappointed if it's not addressed in some way. Conflict of interest and all that.

I think it'd be cool if you were romancing a companion, and something akin to what happened in the Citadel DLC were to occur when you're choosing your party members. "Oh drat! I was really hoping I'd get to go this time." "Easy for you to say, I've never been picked. :(" "Well, you know who always gets picked... *side eyes LI*"

Or if there's conflict between your LI and another character, and when you go try to soothe things over you have a little bit of a harder time with the non-LI character because you have to convince them you're not being biased.

Hmm. I kinda think the opposite, actually. I think Leliana might bring it up, but if you import a Warden who romanced her, she might not care as much, or you might be able to bring it up so she'll back off. But Josephine might care because of the political ramifications it has, (if any), or something. Cullen is a former Templar, and what's more, was stationed at Kirkwall. It might look bad to anyone who opposes what happened there, mage or no.

I'm sure someone will want to have a friendly word with your Inquisitor about it, they always have in the previous two games lol.
