Oooo, you're right! And I've played through Warden's Peak twice recently and never paid attention to that line.

 

I thought it was a really interesting tidbit. Of course, there's an extremely high probability of it all just being a coincidence. But I like the idea of a young Cullen wanting to become a templar because he wanted to restore some sort of honour to his family name, and being a knight (or close to one) is a good way of doing so.

 

Of course, I also really like the idea of him being a Chantry Boy. Or a farm boy. Actually, anything other than him being a noble, although I could live with that. Secret/former/estranged/disgraced nobles everywhere!

I'm hoping I'm just missing it, but it looks like there is no dragon age panel at PAX Prime this year.  The full schedule for the expo was just released and it's no where on it.     Maybe the Gamescom info drop will be so large there is no need for any new stuff two weeks later?  That would be pretty nice.

i think it's like...5 am west coast U.S. time when the MS thing starts. and it sounds like it will start w/ a bang. idk if i should go wake up early, or stay up late.

 

perhaps a bit of both. i won;t be able to catch the one on the !3th out the box cuz it's like 2am for me. sooo maybe i'll treat myself. i really hope they bang it open w/ a trailer or something.

The Microsoft press conference is 5am my time...and I adore Dragon Age, but I don't think I can manage 5am. I have three kids and I need sleep! However, if I happen to find myself awake at that time I'll grab my earphones and squee quietly. Do you think there will be more DA info at the EA one on Wednesday than at the Microsoft one? 1am is slightly easier to deal with... Maybe!

I tried to set up the Twitch app for my iPad, but it refuses to find the Xbox channel. As for what to expect, I have no idea. I think the EA one on Wednesday is the big one, but don't quote me on it. I'm new to this gaming con thing.
