In other gaming news, Call of Duty Advanced Warfare has a Day Zero Edition..  you can pre-order it and get it a day early from both Best Buy and Game Stop (release date is November 4th so you can get it on the 3rd).

 

I don't play CoD but my son does. I think he's using it to take his mind off DA:I.

It is so weird to me that Tomb Raider was considered a commercial failure. I mean I get the numbers and everything, but... damn...

I think what angers me most is not that I won't be able to play it, but if it does poorly because it is an exclusive, it's just further 'proof' that games with female protagonists don't sell.

Disappointed that there was no news today but not entirely surprised, it just means they owe us even more tomorrow

 

I was just on Origin there, as you know already I am hopeless with all things remotely technical, there are 3 pictures of Cullen in the photo-reel, the one in the bedroom, the one of him in full armour and helm and there is another one I don't think I've seen where he is standing facing camera, outdoors with his sword held aloft.

Can someone check it out and see if it's already been posted here? sorry to be a pain but my internet takes like 5mins to load every picture on here and there are a LOT to check lol.

also I'm not sure how to grab that image and post it here

I was a little shocked when my daughters told me about the negativity toward women in the gaming community. When I first started tabletop gaming in the late 70s, I think at least 1/3 of the gamers I met were women, and the first group I played with had more women regulars than men.

I played an FPS game for years online with the same group if people, it was awesome, really good fun UNTIL they found out I was female, urgh! I'm not even going there again lol

If I may inquire....what happened?

 

All of a sudden, I was to get a voice chat programme, they wanted to know my age, where I lived that was the easy parts. Then I started getting e-mails through the forum I was on at the time, that were inappropriate, funny now but I was gutted at the time. The whole dynamic of the "relationships" changed. Pretty sad really.

 

I still kicked their asses in game though
