Totally weird, I don't normally go for the blonde men in rl and yet here I am drooling over 2 in DA.

 i know! In rl i prefer brunettes but it seems in the DA games i always choose the blonde men (Alistair, Anders and now Cullen). Only in ME i chose Kaidan who is more to my rl tastes  .

Looks like he/she has hurt themselves or is exhausted... I think it's meant to represent surviving the blast or something.

What's going on in that picture? Can't make sense of it. The arm looks all twisted.

 

What I see:  

 

He is kneeling with near leg behind him in a crawling position, and the far leg in front of him supporting the weight of his body.  The near armor is straight down, with the hand/fingers apparently curled under what he's holding.  The far arm you cannot see, except for a few fingers, as he has it resting on his thing/knee, and it is hidden by his body.

 

Can you see all of the limbs now?    I had to tilt my head a bit at it, too, as I kept trying to see his far leg as his far arm.

In real life my preferences are redhead > brunette > blond but there are so many blond men and brunette women in DA. In the end they come out balanced for me, but my top preference gets a whopping zero:

Redhead: one option I didn't like
Blond: 2 men in DAO, one in DA2 and Cullen in DAI, and Sera - 5 out 5
Brunette: 1 woman in DAO, 1 I liked in DA2, Dorian and Cassandra so far in DAI - 4, though maybe I'd count Fenris because his eyebrows indicate he might have been brunette before the lyrium? - 4 out of 7 without him

Well, some of them I only started finding attractive after their personalities and voices had won me over. Like Alistair, who was so not my cup of tea when I first saw him but now I find him very attractive. And thanks for reminding me of Sebastian - totally forgot him on my count.

DAI is the first game where I am attracted to characters prior to playing the game. The closest thing I had was Morrigan, who I thought was very pretty but in a very objective way. Vivienne was pretty much the first companion I would like to, in the words of one my friends, 'disappoint all night long'. And now I have Cullen, IB and his many many scars, Josiekins, Cassandra and all those characters the VO competition winners are voicing because they are all extremely hot and dammit why can't they and Bran be LIs?!
