Besides the hair color and style, I'm not seeing any resemblance to Alistair. But who knows what frostbitten Alistair could look like, I guess.

 

It could always be the poor 'ol forgotten Orlesian Warden. I don't believe he/she could ever die in Awakenings.

Awesome trailer! And so excited about Hawke; I hope the Warden is in it too! I doubt they'll have us CC him/her/them at the beginning because that would spoil the surprise for anyone who's staying away from info pre release, but I wonder when? Also, is it my tiny phone screen or does Cullen look even more Greg Ellis-y than in the orange tinted website screenshot?

Edit: whoa, also, the Templar insignia is back on his sash! Liked that.

I don't think that's Alistair. Mostly because, well, what happens if Alistair is King? Or drunk? Or dead? Who would stand in his place? Especially for what seems to be a very important scene/boss battle.

 

Also, that appears to be rogue armour. Wouldn't Alistair be wearing heavier or bulkier armour because he's a warrior?

I just watched the trailer again and there is a bit where a dragon takes down another dragon. Think it could be Flemmeth?

Good point about the armor.

 

But just in this particular playthrough he could be a Warden. Maybe in other playthroughs, if the Warden is still dead, he shows up as king. If he's dead, then the Warden won't be, so. Warden would show up.

 

But agree with Obito could be Orlesian Warden, because:
