What I want to know is what the hell that venereal disease ridden...'sarlacc pit' monster was in the trailer.

I think it was that dragons gaping chest. If you look closely that dragon had spikes (bone?) And things protruding from its chest.

Could be wrong.

Ah, now there is a thought. Maybe we get to actually see the evolution of his connection to the templar order in-game.

This could be rather interesting! Being story related, I mean. 

 

It could be a part of his story or... maybe this is when the Inquisition is still considered 'fledgling'? And he removes it when it's clearer that the Inquisition is here to stay and be it's own damn thing. 

 

...Or maybe that's the only shot they had with the 100% finished costume model?

It's not the same side, but I don't see the flappy bit with the triangular chevron along the edge of it. Could it be part of the templar insignia flappy bit??
