Y'know, I think that giant weird looking dragon might be the Elder One that we'll have to fight. It ties in with Sera's little blurb in the last trailer about him/her/it as we heard what sounded like a Dragon crashing around outside.

I think its just a matter of the inquisitor being in the right place and right time for that spirit to "bless" him.

Yeah, could be. Eluvianix has been maintaining this theory, that the Elder One is a dragon. I wonder if he's really a dragon, or dragon-looking ala Flemeth. Given his claims of being our new god at the end... I could see someone faking it and claiming he's an Old One reborn or something because he shape shifts into a dragon.

Hmm, could be! Or what about  one of these good spirits/demons?  I could definitely see it being a not-so-neutral third party looking to help out the good guys. 

 

I can't help but think about that Lady of the Skies that we see the shrine to in MotA. Wasn't there a statue like that one that myahele posted??

That scene was SO cool. Reminded me a bit of DotS, with dragons going mano y mano. sweeeeeet!! 

 

And, I could imagine us being really clever and somehow drawing the baddie into an area with real live, regular dragons... who are beasts and attack on sight, right? Heh. Anything that gets dragons fighting sounds AWESOME!

I think if a dragon is the Elder One, it'll be a Great Dragon. Either that, or the Great Dragons are on our side and the Elder One is merely masquerading as a dragon.

It's taken me an hour and a half to catch up with everything this morning, lol. Love the trailer, especially all the Cullen (also love Morrigan's bird entrance). And Cole speaks, yeah! And is that an Inquisitor vs. Inquisitor moment at about 0:46? I notice in the segment where Solas has the Inquisitor's hand, Cassandra just steps back almost casually. Man, I'll be spending the next two days sneaking looks at this stuff.

 

Second dragon, I was thinking Flemeth too (could making an alliance with her be that achievement?). Or a tame dragon. Or (though unlikely given what they've said) the OGB? Morrigan herself? I've been assuming that Morrigan's involvement depends a lot on what we do in Orlais.

We confirm that the military/espionage/diplomacy cards were placeholders for Cull/Lel/Jos concept art.

I think the Elder One is indeed dragon looking.
Question though, I couldn't figure out if the rotted looking dragon was the same thing as the many eyed creature in the trailer.
