Hopefully that's just a presentation thing for the tropes, seeing he uses it during an inspiring speech. If he believes it himself... I might not romance him, depending on how it feels/is written. I'm not into the idea of manipulating someone's faith to bed 'em. Seems veeeeery rapey. 

 

Reminds me of how in the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen comics, Griffin (the Invisible Man) manipulates girls in a Catholic school into believing he's the Holy Ghost so he can sleep with them.

I was just browsing twitter, I noticed that David Gaider had posted,  that it was "interesting to see the burbling following the new trailer reveal. Some of the interpretations are...interesting. :)"

That made me laugh some, you can only imagine where some peoples minds have gone after todays reveal.

We all interpret things differently, some more wildly than others lol.

 

I don't mind being "Herald" in very early game, when everyone will be like "Omgwtfbbq", I'd hate to be addressed like that by him or any other companion once introductions are made and friendships/bonds have started being built.

Well, that would fit some kind of historical cycle trope. OTOH, maybe choices can change how the cycle comes out too.

Yeah...perhaps it is part of what could happen if you make choices that he doesn't like. But if you make choices that he does like, he won't turn.

To be honest, I doubt it will be any of the advisors that turn traitor if there is a traitor. 

 

Besides, the guy Cullen mirrors in the Last Supper picture is known for loyalty.

I think they will all have the opportunity to betray us. DAO had it. DA2 kinda sealed the deal.

I think the advisers will stick with you to the end due to plot. Who else is gonnna send us quests to strengthen the inquisition.
