Could be a stand in or something? You know how these devs like to throw us off.
Those sneaky witch-thieves!
Ha, I could see that. That also brings me back to what David Gaider said on the Gamescom thread:
We have a lot of discussion regarding what level of spoilers are okay to provide when it comes to trailers. We have to provide some... the only way to not give away any spoilers would be to reveal nothing at all about the story, and that's not something we want to do. It's too much of a big blank, especially when it comes to BioWare games which revolve around their story and are known for such.
That said, the spoilers we reveal may not be the ones people think they are. I've seen a number of interpretations of what we've shown which are, quite frankly, completely wrong. Some intentionally so, as the trailer is put together in such a way as to be ever so slightly misleading. "You realize that, when they see that shot, they're going to think [this certain thing]?" "Yup, absolutely." So people will absolutely speculate away, but I'd suggest being careful of taking every interpretation as if it's gospel truth.
And if someone's preference is that they get NO spoilers? Then they should avoid marketing stuff completely... but that's true for almost every game ever. Govern thyselves.
I wonder what we're getting wrong. (Probably a lot.) Oh, even more suspense.
