I'd laugh if Hawke was the placeholder for some random NPC

I am hoping that is the placeholder for the Warden, but since they said it wasn't, we have to wait and see on that.
But Cullen...oh that definitely supports my decision to romance him first! Although I read someone's comment about what he said in Act 1 of DA 2, when you save Keran and Cullen made the comment about mages not being human. I know that was a year after the Broken Circle arc, but I wonder if he is crueler than what we think...then again, he does try to spare some of the mages if you side with the Templars in the finale...
I think that's Sheryl Chee's Dwarfquisitor, with the cheeckscar Patrick twittered about.Hey guys, where is this dwarf from?
I still can't believe we've finally heard Cullen's voice coming from his fully animated DAI model, it makes it easier to associate the two together now. I'm still getting used to his new face model though... admittedly there are things I would tweak about it if I had designed him myself, and I still find his DA2 model my favourite of the 3, but overall I'm pretty pleased with how he turned out. could've been a whole lot worse, I can tell you that much!

No, because this dwarf was talking to the Inquisitor.

Perhaps this might help to get a rough idea of Cullen's thoughts on the subject, it's a fan blurb a tumblr user wrote about Cullen and the Inquisitor discussing his past and how it's affected his current opinions surrounding mages and magic, you'll see at the bottom David Gaider has left a comment saying "Accurate fan blurb is accurate.":

It almost was a whole lot worse! Lol
Exactly!

Tbh I definitely like this version the best of the three.
I think I might grow to, but at the moment I can't grasp a decent consistent opinion of his new appearance because he looks different in every picture and clip, LOL!
The new frostbite Cullen is by far my favorite. Also, just my two cents, but I kinda just assumed that dwarf was Dagna
I'm wondering if that robed man fighting Morrigan and Quizzy near the Eluvian was Imshael. Also, loved the waterbending he did!
It's the Dark Avatar ![]()

Sheryl Chee confirmed that it was completely new character.

@LolaLei:...That is perfectly worded. It would definitely show how much he grew between then and now.

Especially seeing as THIS version is the one that we'll get to know best, that THIS version is the one that we'll be romancing. I'm positive by the game's release, THIS version will surely become most of our favorites! :3
Exactly, it'll go beyond physical appearance once we start talking to him properly, learning what he's like as a person, witnessing his interactions with the other characters, and seeing how his romance and/or friendship progresses with the Inquisitor. Eventually it'll feel weird for me to go back at see DA2 Cullen looking like he did in that same way that seeing Varric and Cassandra in their DA2 form looks feels really odd, lol.
I'm so glad they didn't have him being all smug/confidence/laid back in this trailer, I think we needed to see him in his natural habitat giving orders to his soldiers and behaving all serious just like we're used to, it made brought the familiarity back to his new unfamiliar model.
Nope, she's said that the dwarf is a new character and not her PCI think that's Sheryl Chee's Dwarfquisitor, with the cheeckscar Patrick twittered about.
Lol, isn't he dead by now? It's the Dark Avatar
Ikr? I mean, if he's going to look different, at LEAST make it with less and less clothing as opposed to adding more and more! Makes things more difficult for us...ahem....visually.
The only thing I dislike about his outfit is that fluffy stole and I always have. My problem with it is that it gets in the way of his face in almost every shot we've seen of him, if there are mods that'll be the first thing I'll get rid of, or at least shrink down so it's not constantly up in his grill all the time, lol.
However, I would like to see him in some casual attire. I mean, it's all well and good romancing the guy but it's gonna feel a bit weird having lovey dovey/sexy interactions within him with thick metal armor in the way and a giant fluffy stole blocking the view... for me, personally, it kinda kills the intimacy of the animations.

That's awesome. I hadn't see that before. Thanks for posting it.

Well, it sounds like the person who wrote it near enough hit the nail on the head. If nothing else, it at least gives us some indication that he's not going to be all "RAWR mages!" The minute he sees one.
