Did you notice that the VO audio was slightly out of sync with the lip movements too? I thought maybe it was just the stream version, but the proper trailer does it too.

I did... it every so slightly dimmed my enjoyment of the first playthrough. But still... Cullen. Talking. Moving. FROWNING! Leading. Yeah. 

 

 

I'm so glad they didn't have him being all smug/confidence/laid back in this trailer, I think we needed to see him in his natural habitat giving orders to his soldiers and behaving all serious just like we're used to, it made brought the familiarity back to his new unfamiliar model.

Agree his cheshire cat smirking in all the shots so far have been a little... I dunno, almost OOC. This guy was Cullen. Ugly snarl and all.

okay but who is that warden? why is this a Thing? why is this a mystery? if its alisatir, which i'm not convinced it is, why not say so? we already know he's in it. we had a VA vid and everything. if it's the orlesian warden, why not just say so. i mean, you've got hawke up in there--that's huge. but we can't know abt sum orlesian warden?

Yeah... I think it's just because he was with Hawke, so everyone thought he was the Warden. Now that he's not... I'm thinking the devs are laughing at us because he's NPC #4 with no talking lines. LOL

There's a tavern in the Skyhold, may as well make use of it as a recreation/hang out room if nothing else. Plus, you've gotta make an effort to bond with your peers, especially if you're working closely together, so if that's where they can be found sometimes then why not join them. In there is as good a place as any.

I'm actually curious about this. I realize I always headcanon that he's not a drinker, and he just sips to be social. But... drunk!Cullen or at the very least, tipsy&relaxed!Cullen would be awesome to see... weird, but awesome.

I didn't see Vivienne in the trailer casting a fire spell. I saw a Mage with a gap in her teeth doing one, but that definitely wasn't Vivi.

srsly, tho, uh is that really hawke. i know laidlaw said it was hawke, but is it hawke-hawke? it seems like sum crazy stuff is going on in that scene. is it the fade fumes playing tricks on our minds as inquisitor?

Lol I'm just so used to 'business' Cullen and Cullen who, for the life of him, gets embarrassed at simply walking into a brothel. A tavern just seems, to me at this point, a bit out of his comfort zone.

Naaaaw, he'll be living there and it'll be full of his soldiers anyway. I don't think he's half as awkward as we've painted him to be. Maybe with women, sure, but he's a soldier, I bet he's absolutely fine being around it, if he isn't directly taking part lol.

Why not both? I think there might already be a Chantry attached. However, I can see adding a brothel to raise the morale of the men lol.

That is far too reasonable. Think big! Finding him in the bath and helping him wash his bath. Drying the sweat from his body after a hard training session. Giving him a back rub after a long day.
