Y'know... THAT is totally something we can bond with Cullen over. The lone survivor of the peace gathering blast and the lone surviving Templar of the blood mage attack in the circle (of the ones that got trapped behind the door, anyway). Maybe it'll be him comforting us about it, given that he has first hand experience.

Lol, if he doesn't think we used blood magic to survive the blast.

LOL, he may well do initially. He clearly gets over it though, if he's willing to shack up with us!

I wonder what he'd say if you're a necromancer, as that is a very, very controversial magic school.

Well, if you are then he isn't wrong, LOL! I'm definitely intrigued about how the advisors are gonna react to our protagonist at first, even once Cassandra lets us out of the dungeon because she needs our help. One of them is going to be at least a little wary at first.

I'd say Leliana might be a bit more open to us than the other two. Though, once we prove ourselves to Cass, I can see her being an unwavering ally. Cullen might have a bit more issue with a mage Inquisitor, but then again, all three might be a bit more wary towards mages.

Not to mention the PC being wary of them! I think that's what will push Leliana to get Josephine to join. They need a peacekeeper if they are going to work together.

I don't think it was so much a choice on her part, or she'd choose someone like Leliana or Cassandra, but rather we were the only person she saw as we were the only one on the same plane of existence as her at the time.

yeah. I have a hard time believing something like this could possibly have been planned by her... Unless she's also secretly a Magister specialized on the Fade. IF that's Justinia--and that's still a big IF--I'd expect it to be more serendipitous. Like, "sorry kid, you're all I have to work with, so you'll have to do."

They describe Cassandra as the believer, right? So she probably comes round to the idea fairly quickly. Leliana... I just can't tell anymore, she's changed a lot and she's lost her best friend and mother figure so maybe at first she'd be like "kill it with fire" and then maybe once we explain what we saw and how it happened she'd be more inclined to believe us and warm up a bit. Cullen? He's another one I can't tell. He seems to be at a point where he doesn't know what's what anymore, he could end up being the one that's completely reasonable and open to giving us a chance.

Indeed, I'm sure they will portray the doubts or support from our companions well, it will be fun to watch some of the squirm.

If you were to play a Necromancer romancing Cullen though, there is a line from a song that came to my mind, Adele - Set Fire to The Rain, it it, she sings that "there is a side to you, that I never knew" kind of cute to think he would come round once he got to know you.

Laaaate, but...

We never actually physically enter the Fade. The Sloth demon 'forces' us into it by putting the Warden and companions asleep, and again we're forced into it in the Black Marsh by passing out and being dragged into it 'awake'. In DA2 it's another 'sleeping' thing. In DAI, however, it looks like our Inquisitor will be physically and bodily dragged into it.  :o

I agree. Leliana is a wild card these days.

Unless she had some sort of vision. Hell, the spirit probably won't even talk to us, she'll just grab our hand and pull us into the Fade then disappear without cushioning our landing, lol.

The Book, anyone? Maybe there are prophecies in there...

I had always theorized that maybe some of the Grand Clerics or the Divine had access to magic.

Sh!t. I really don't know which Inquisitor I want to play first. I have so many ideas, and they'll all react to the craziness that happens to them so beautifully.  Everything I see just makes me more and more excited and interested in the Inquisitor's situation.

Anyone remeber Eleni Zinovia?

"The prison is breached. I see the encroaching darkness. The... the shadow will consume all..."

Leliana had a dream about joining the Warden, didn't she. Maybe something similar happens with the Divine, perhaps not precisely every little detail but enough to know that she was going to die and that Thedas was in deep dog doo-doo.

I bet that shadow is reference to the blast killing everyone in there, except us because we're awesome, lol.

I know I'll either be human or an elf because those two races will be the easiest to try and recreate myself in.

Or maybe her dream was not about the Blight at all and it was about the Breach instead. She just interpreted it to mean the Blight, but she could have been wrong.

Does she describe what happened in her dream? I don't recall.
