Wait, I thought you wanted Dorian to be short lol
Oh, I don't mind his height! It's if Bioware subscribes to the 'the shorter partner is always submissive, no exception' 'rule' found in animanga... that's what I don't want. ![]()

If Bioware supports the animanga 'height rule' trope when it comes to male/male pairs, I'mma be irritated.
Perhaps holding in the Elder One.
Lucifer's cage?

And Dorian does not seem like the submissive type to me at all.
God, do I wanna even ask?
Lucifer's cage?
The Breach was perhaps the 66th seal being broken?

You sir, are most definitely my spirit animal.

I do like the idea of the Elder One beign like Lucifer.
Maybe he's some fallen divine thingy.
Don't the companions always have unique body types?? That doesn't seem revolutionary to me. At least the DA2 bodies were all unique meshes.
But do they have unique bodies outside of their outfits. Like, when it comes to the sexytime scene, if, for example Cullen and Dorian are topless will their torsos be identical in height/width, skin texture (freckles, scars, whatever) or will they too have unique bodies specific to their character?
Sh!t. I really don't know which Inquisitor I want to play first. I have so many ideas, and they'll all react to the craziness that happens to them so beautifully. Everything I see just makes me more and more excited and interested in the Inquisitor's situation.
Yeah, I have the same problem, complicated by not knowing enough about some of the companions yet. Right now, I'm leaning toward a female dwarf warrior, romancing Iron Bull (mostly because if they went through that much work to make it possible, I want to see it, lol) with an elven mage/Alistair's mistress for my DAO background and warrior Hawke. Second choice is probably a human mage and Cullen with a human mage/Leliana romance for DAO background and mage Hawke/Isabella just because that one offers the most chances for interesting, even awkward, moments. I should admit that I'm also known for having multiple playthroughs going at the same time.
I can already see the competition rise between those two ![]()
"Dorian is more ripped! No Cullen is! No Dorian!"
hmmm. Were the devs this specific? I don't recall they were. But do they have unique bodies outside of their outfits. I think Cullen will be more ripped, since he's a warrior, but Dorian will probably lithely muscular and a lot more lean.
TBH I also like the Justinia idea, primarily because I don't like the Andraste one. DG has been pretty clear that they won't ever explain or even introduce you to the Thedosian gods. But the departing soul of the dead giving you a magical McGuffin? That I could see.
I also like the Justinia angle, for the same reasons.
But on the other hand, I kind of like the idea of everyone *thinking* it was Andraste, because people *want* to believe in a higher power "watching over us". And since I want to play a Dalish first, I think I like the implications of this little Dalish running around Thedas, being called the Herald of Andraste haha

Lol, I hadn't even considered that aspect. I was thinking more along the lines of, when they've got their kit off will Cullen have scars on his back? Is Dorian going to have a cheeky tattoo somewhere on his torso, will there be chest hair? Stuff like that.

I'm definitely looking forward to seeing each unique body model.

On the other hand, we can change their clothes this time around. So I suppose it makes sense they'd each have a, erm, naked version as a base.
But what of the advisors? We can't change their outfits.
I interpreted it as him teaching us how our power works and what we're capable of. If I'm right, it probably means we get him relatively early.
Didn't they say something in his interview about him showing up and offering his help as a fade specialist? Maybe he's saying "hmm, wonder if this works?"

On his/her cheeks? That should be a thing!
