OT: But I really hope we can befriend a dragon! A lot of people are speculating that the dragon that attacks the other dragon is Morrigan or Flemeth, but it would be neat for it to be our 'friend.' I'm trying not to get too hyped but the idea is making me really excited. :u I'd call it Kitty and it would be glorious.

 

 

And aw.Thanks for asking! ^-^ Taller Cullen would've been cool but he still looks taller than most of the gals, so all is good. (Although the taller female qunari is going to be cute. )

That's one friendly Dragon! Could be Flemeth, could just be a friendly dragon... I wouldn't mind a pet one. I don't actually intend to kill any of them in DAI, except that evil one that was mocking us at the end of the trailer.

That's one friendly Dragon! Could be Flemeth, could just be a friendly dragon... I wouldn't mind a pet one. I don't actually intend to kill any of them in DAI, except that evil one that was mocking us at the end of the trailer.

My thought was Flemeth too, at first. Then I realized that dragon isn't the right color. Plus Ashe pointed out in her analysis video that the dragon doesn't have Flemeth's horns.

I think the whole taming a dragon must be somehow connected to our past. It says that High Dragons have protected their "followers" before, so maybe that's what it is, we're not actually taming it, but it is either protecting us or we made some sort of deal.

 

I just would find it very silly if we were able to tame a dragon without explanation. I'm thinking that Dragon Armor means more than just marketing, it's where we came from, our past.

The sounds of that dragon being taken down in an older demo were awful, I felt so bad for it

I would LOVE for that to happen. If you see the blue glow between the Inquisitor and dragon, the stream seems to be coming from the Inquisitor.

 

And I remember from one of the early concept art releases, there was something that said we had the power of dragons or something?

Of course, it's also possible that the dragon is using some magic to charm you closer and the blue glow is it pulling you in, lol. Mind you, I'd much rather be able to tame a dragon myself.

Not saying you're wrong about the Flemeth dragon... just want to say I noticed that the dragon's appearance differed from DA:O to DA2
