You might be right.. it does seem to be something he knows, whether he was told about it or has seen it in the demo, and he does go off about Origins a lot. So maybe the warden would be huge to him. Some people are speculating that it's multiplayer, but I'm hoping for a separate cc or a toolset. (a girl can dream!)

Can't wait for that big announcement then!(Assuming that it's legit,we've seen journalists messing up before.)

I just had a huge crisis because I'm getting into the Landsmeet for the first time on my DA:O playthrough and I don't know who to crown.

Oh,that's pretty intense!In my first playthrough I crowned Anora,so that Alistair could stay with my warden(That's how politics work right?).

But I think,the best choice for Ferelden,is Anora and Hardened Alistair,ruling together.But in my canon playhtrough I  just have Alistair on the throne

I have a theory that I can get a cat purring twice as fast if I stroke it with two hands inatead of one. Unfortunately, I don't have a cat to test it.

As for the Landsmeet, the most important thing is to have a save before you enter the hall. And my favourite is King Alistair and Queen Anora together.

This gif reminds me, you can't really see it in the gif because it's cropped, and it's kinda a meaningless detail in the grand scheme of things, but something I really liked is how his wrist turns to the side after he thrusts his sword out, as if he's adjusting to the weight. It's such a small detail, but I love that it's there. It's something that you would do in real life if you were to do that, and I find that really neat.

 

I'm floundering between making Anora Queen, or letting Alistair duel and execute Loghain, and then making him King with my Cousland to rule beside him for my canon playthrough. On the one hand, I think Anora would be a better Queen, plus Alistair doesn't even want to be King, but on the other hand, my Cousland doesn't quite trust Anora, even if she likes her. That, and I like the poetic justice of letting Alistair duel and execute Loghain. I mean, my Cousland got to do the same for Howe.

 

I'm thinking I might just make him King with my Cousland as his Queen, and then in the Keep I'll just create another world state with Anora as Queen for another playthrough to see what that's like.

O.O that's one of the things I love about DA, no matter how many times you may play there is a chance to discover something new. I've played DA 2 at least seven times and never knew that lol.

Is this just a theory or have they mentioned anything that implies that it is Justinia and she is Andraste? Just wondering because I hadn't even considered that. I think she's Justinia. Others think she's Andraste. It was the knee jerk reaction for many people so I called her Andraste rather than the glowy big head lady thing.

But now that I think about it, if she was close to the Urn, Justinia could have been protected for a time from the magic because the of the lyrium, therefore allowing her to enter the Fade the way she did.

I'm running with the popular opinion that its the Cheese String guy (with moobs) but in all seriousness, it could be anyone from a powerful fade spirit to Justinia/Andraste, another brilliantly placed teaser by BW, we just don't know and probably won't until November.

 

I've never killed Merrils clan, so it would be kind of cool to see them pop up again. I always talk them down and leave, poor Merril BUT her time with her clan was long ended anyways.

 

Thankfully, I've never come across the bugs you guys are talking about, I would freak out! I'm on the pc though with a dialogue fix mod installed, I think it corrected a lot of the potential misfires.

Alistair is always King in my PT's with my Cousland at his side, she takes on the role that others believe Anora would, so a perfect match (except the heir, but meh!, who needs kids anyway) we could really drop a bomb and adopt a Qunari baby Now THAT would give the stuffy nobles something to complain about.

All you have to do is say you take responsibility for Merrill's actions which Hawke actually says something along the lines of he/she won't let Merrill's blood magic hurt anyone, I believe. I usually always go the friendship path with Merrill. I find it very hard to rival her, she's so sweet!

Maybe it's the narrative but I honestly thought the glowy person thing was the bad guy. At first I thought it was the architect which annoyed me because he's dead alldayeerday In all of my playthroughs, but then I could've swore I saw a boob. I've only been able to watch it one time because of my lack of internet but I'll watch it several times this weekend, no doubt. Just wanted to be sure so I can view the trailer with that in mind.

Oh yeah, I know. Problem is saying 'I'll take responsibility for Merrill's actions' is practically blaming her for what the Keeper chose to do. Which my canon Hawke wasn't about to do. His telling them the simple truth, that the Keeper tried to fight a demon by herself had them go on the attack. So it's their own fault, really. 

 

Merrill was responsible about her dealings with the demon, and asked Hawke to be there to kill her if she couldn't fight the demon off. It was the Keeper that chose to strip Merrill of her choice and right to deal with the spirit intelligently and she paid the price for it. My Hawke wasn't going to call the Keeper's choice Merrill's responsibility. D:

 

Mind, I do have a Hawke where they're alive, though! So they get to live at least once.

Yes there is one dialogue option that prevents that happening. Your Hawke must say to clan members after keeper's death that you take responsibility of Merrill and for some reason they let you pass then XD I always killed them until I saw post about it in tumblr I think.

 

EDIT: Oh, 'ed.

 

Also to take more part of discussion I don't like the dialogue option either but since it's only reason to not slaughter clan for no reason I always pick it.
