They were Templars?
Yeah they had the sword emblem on their gauntlets.
edit Chests, sorry.

I just noticed in the video, Templars dropping to their knees. Maybe in reverence to the PC as the herald and I was just thinking how weird it could be for a circle mage. For most of their lives they have been under the control and at the mercy of templars and now the templars are bowing and worshipping the ground they walk on so to speak.
Also there is a building that looks like it's being raised, could that be Arlathan being risen?
You just gave me a great idea for one of my Inquisitors! : D
Also, when Cullen orders the Inquisition soldiers to "go with the herald", behind him you can see one of them with a Templar shield. Dunno if that's just one of the many Kirkwall Templars that he had join him when he was recruited into the Inquisition, or if that particular inquisitor in the trailer had chosen to side with the Templars and thus they were working with us.
Yes....they shall worship me as their new god!!!!!!!! ALL SHALL LOVE ME AND DESPAIR.
I thought the building was falling, not rising...and I don't think Arlathan is going to be raised again from the earth.
"Bow before you're new god and be Spared"

lol yeah a few of my circle mages could have fun with templars worshipping her ![]()

You mean these guys?

"Bow before you're new god and be Spared"
All mundanes shall worship the mages as their masters! So mote it be.
You mean these guys?
Yeah those ones.
Yeah those ones.
It's just that those are really, really ornate feathers for Templars to be wearing.
I only heard snippets of Ali Hillis Dwarf, but from what I did, it sounded like she was telling the Inquisitor for the first time about the Herald of Andraste thing. I think this means only a small amount are thinking this, possibly just the Avvar.
Best shot I could get, but they look like the sword of mercy on the chest.
But then why would Cullen call them Herald in a completely different scene?
Oh good point. Ugh, he better not actually think that we're the Herald. I hope it's just some sort of rallying call for some idiot soldiers.
Yes. I want him to treat me like a prophet.Oh good point. Ugh, he better not actually think that we're the Herald. I hope it's just some sort of rallying call for some idiot soldiers.

I am thinking he will, he's pretty religious. I could see him believing in something like that.
Could just be another title he uses that sounds more respectful than referring to him/her by the Surname. Plus, from a writing standpoint, it probably saves "Inquisitor" from becoming repetitive.
I think its more than that. I think its meant as a symbol of hope and faith during a time like that.
Oh I see the value, it's just hard to not question the mental state of those who believe it. I also want to romance Cullen and I'd rather not him think I'm literally some kind of blessed and divine being. It's kinda unhealthy.
Yeah but it could also be a new spin on the naughty apprentice and hapless recruit ![]()
Not gonna lie, my first thought was, "Wow, either there are no women in his army, or Thedas is more progressive than I thought."
Cullen only recruits married women; he's very particular!
So anyway... longest day ever. Feel so dead. But I know I missed a demo (http://www.ign.com/v...e-gamescom-2014), demo write-up (http://everythingdragonage.tumblr.com/post/94831801554/my-da-i-gameplay-experience-gamescom), and something eluvianix just posted (http://www.dragonage.com/#!/en_US/news/writing-villains). Anything else?

Sure looks like it in the shot you got, though those plumes (peacock feathers?) threw me. I kept trying to see what that was on their chests but could never get a clear frame. Any guesses on who the two guys in the background with either spears or staffs are? And the lighting here is riftish...

Could be just a variation of Cullen's fluff. It looks like their under armour is red to match Cullen's red cloaky thing. Though that could just be the lighting.
