There's been a ton of articles to come out and a second demo write up. I've linked articles, the writeups, Eric's vids etc here. There's also 3 pages of screenshots.
You are so amazing for compiling all these stuff.
Oh yeah, I'm going in expecting that the writers didn't make anything skeevy. I was just voicing concerns over how it could appear if Cullen (or ANY of the LIs, really) see the Inquisitor as a divine figure/Maker-sent/Andraste reborn/an Andraste-like figure/Herald of some kind of religion...
Somehow I don't think I will have that problem with Iron Bull ![]()
Or Blackwall, in the 1% chance he's a LI.

I imagine out of the confirmed LIs Iron Bull, Dorian and Sera won't think about that kind of thing at all. Cassandra and Cullen, though...
Well, it would be easy to make things come across as... bad.

It would depend on my PC but personally I would not want the person I love to see me as a holy figure, yeah lol

It's also just that it could possibly come across as manipulative rape. I mean I could MAKE a character that wouldn't care, but I personally wouldn't want to because... no. That sh!t creeps me out. ![]()
From the E3 demo.
Kinda too bad actually... I was hoping this one was like a mohawk.
Looks like they wear full faced helmets too. So Cullen could just be wearing the new templar Commander armour, maybe he hasn't left the templars after all, they just work for the inquisition now.
With the feathery things on the helmets, they look like small manes, little lion cubbies ![]()
I'm starting to feel like 3 months is a long way away... like it's dragging out particularly now...

Same here, I have the 21st marked on my calender and I swear it moves a line FURTHER away every week lol

I haven't done that yet... last night I was carrying on to my partner that it was only 2 months away and then got really depressed when I realised it was 3 months...
It honestly feels like Christmas will come sooner than November 20th (release date here) lol
Time actually slows down whenever you're waiting for something. Especially something awesome. Time is a huge jerk.
A watched pot never boils. Sucks
I finally watched the new game play vid and heard the IGN guy ask CL what did taunt mean... I couldn't help myself but say (out loud) "dude, you work for IGN how do you not know what taunt is?!"

OMG, this. I had the exact same reaction. I guess that's gaming "journalism" for you, IDEK.
Sometimes journalists/TV presenters/compares/what have you have to ask questions they already know/that seem obvious to the audience 'who is in the know' for those who might not know/might be looking into RPGs for the very first time.
Still seems really weird, though! I would be lying if I said I didn't snerk at the question.
I really need to get this off my chest! So I was talking to my boyfriend about the new trailer and how a dragon attacks another dragon and that there has been some speculation that we may be able to tame a dragon and have it fight for us, "wouldn't that be cool, babe?" asks I whilst bouncing around excitedly on the floor. He then replies very smugly like he has just unlocked he greatest secret in the game, "I think it's Flemmeth and Andraste slugging it out."
Me: Erm, what? How did you come to that conclusion?
BF: Well Flemmeth can shape shift into a dragon--
Me: *cuts in* Yes but Flemmeth shape shifts into a purple dragon.
BF: And I'm pretty sure Andraste is a dragon.
Me: Umm, no, she is not.
BF: Yes, she is. There was a dragon in Origins called Andraste.
Me: No. Andraste is a prophet and spiritual wife of the Maker. They built the Andrastian faith on her teachings so pretty sure she isn't a dragon. You could be thinking of the arch demon which is the dragon you defeat at the end of the game.
BF: Pretty sure the dragon was callad Andraste.
Me: Sits silently with mouth gaping open slightly and thinking, "wow, I really want to punch you in the face right now because not only is your memory a big pile of sh!t but you are too stubborn to even consider that I, the person who still plays Origins in this relationship, could possibly have better knowledge of the game than you do!"
I think I need to meditate because that conversation stressed me out!
Boys! Think they know better than girls when it comes to video games. Sure, the dragon was called Andraste but it wasn't the Andraste. The fact that it's possible to kill the darn thing makes it unlikely to show up in Inquisition. The nutters from the cult in Haven were not exactly the most reliable source of info.
And the greatest secret of the game is that Cullen has teddy bears on his underwear. *nod nod*
I shortened the conversation a bit but he doesn't even remember there being a dragon at Haven!
What? He doesn't remember one of the best boss fights of the game? For shame!
You could always whip out your DA lore, and give him the real name of the archdemon! Or call him gullible for believing the cult at Haven. He might not remember the boss fight, but that was the only time we hear anyone call a dragon Andraste, so that's the only place I can think he got the idea. ![]()

I've been thinking about my first Inquisitor (a male rogue elf, as per my tradition) and I think he'll end up taking Cullen's advice most often. He would abhor the game of politics diplomacy entails and while his roguishness would incline him to spies' methods, I think Leliana's devotion and stance on magic will turn him away from her counsel. I can see him working well with Cullen, though. My idea for a PC to romance Cullen will probably not go for his advice as often.
He is so frustrating, his memory is crap. I literally never start a conversation with "do you remember..." because 9x out of 10 no, he won't remember. The Haven dragon must be what he is going on about but I think he is getting his dragons mixed up, lol. I'm playing Origins again so when I get to Haven I will sit him down and make him watch me play it so he can refresh his memory. He tried to tell me the other day that Sister/Mother Petrice was the Grand Cleric. *face palm*
I have an awfully bad memory so I'm often on the other side of the exasperated 'do you remember', but I'm usually self-aware enough not to argue over my supposed memories with people I know have better memory than I ![]()

My boyfriend full on hates Dragon Age because I've been going on and on about it ever since he's known me, LOL! It's annoying because I know he'd actually like DAI even if he didn't like how clunky DA:O was or the story to DA2. He's a huge Mass Effect fan as well, so I know he'd like it... but he's being stubborn. So I told him that he should count himself lucky, there are only two things I've never lost interest in, Dragon Age and him. That's quite the feat, I think, LOL!
No matter, more DAI for me!

My stupid bf was on the 'ew bioware gay and stuff' bandwagon. Like he isn't even the type of person who would normally do that, and I am still annoyed that he thinks that. And this is from Mass Effect, he hasn't even played DA2. He loved origins though.
It's just he really really isn't the type who would stereotype like that, he doesn't think gay people are weird. But in video games it apparently a hetro male only zone according to him becuase 'they stopped making good games and made gay games'.
I'm getting angry just thinking about it.

Oh man, I'd flip my **** if my bf said that... like, pushing the boarders of getting dumped sorta thing, lol. It's such a dude-bro/straight white man self-entitled attitude to have, isn't it.
