Lol, your reactions for Cullen were adorable! I still can't get over that trailer. I was sitting in the middle of my lounge on the floor with all the lights off and watching it on the big TV nice and loud a couple of hours ago and I felt so miniscule. It was so weird!

I'm still really curious about why Morrigan was creeping beind that crazy eyed guy.

OOOOO that's the way to do it! Though I probably would of like DIED if it were on a huge screen XD

I've only really added character creation mods and a few that add extra scenes like "Sleep Until Dawn", and unlocks some unused dialogue.

I just got back from seeing Guardians of the Galaxy and I couldn't help but look at Chris Pratt and think yep he could play Cullen.... esp in the training yard topless... you know where he could be appreciated :)

My hubby just laughs whenever the topic of DA comes up but I'm lucky to have a few friends who really enjoy the game as well. However, I was watching the gameplay from yesterday and I just heard this huge sigh and then he said "I hate that game". He just misses his wow playmate.

I only add fixes and some char creation stuff. Still not sure why I have void-headed elves, though. Only elves. The humans and dwarves are fine.

Watched it and definitely thought he'd be more of an Alistair personally. He can pull off adorkableness very well.

Definitely an Alistair type. He's cute, I definitely wouldn't say no, regardless of whether he's carrying a bit of extra weight or ripped to buggery, LOL!

My husband finally watched the new DAI trailer and said he didn't think the graphics looked that good. He said the textures reminded him of DAO. I told him he must have watched on a low resolution, because NO. It's funny, he played DAO before I did and recommended it to me, thinking I would like it. Uh, he had no idea! XD

I had never played an rpg game before, I had always just taken turns on my husbands fps's. 2009 changed that though when my step-son just randomly bought me DAO for Xmas, it sounds terribly ungrateful but I just didn't fancy it atall when I looked at the manual etc. My husband was the one that called me out on it and said "at least install the damned thing and have a shot while the lad is here on holidays" with a sigh, I agreed, to be polite and the rest, they say. is history!

I got hooked so quickly, I'd never experienced anything like it before, the character interactions, the romances, everything about it just blew my mind!

My younger daughter got me to come play through an origin (human noble) on her computer when the game first came out, but I'd never tried a game that was story based/a real RPG and also got really frustrated with the combat system. I quit once I got to Ostagar. Last year I was visiting my oldest daughter and her partner and mentioned wanting something I could play solo since my gaming partner was in major life changes and unavailable. When she found out I'd quit DAO so early, she pulled up some youtubes showing me a few cutscenes (humorous ones since she knows I love snarky), and I was hooked.

Is he crazy eyed, or is that something reflecting in his eyes?

I got it on PS3 but my partner decided to play it a bit (& lost interest) and I watched. He really liked Alistair and thought he was hilarious. So I decided to try it but much prefer playing on PC so got a cheap PC version. I went back to my partner and said I really liked Alistair as well, just probably not in the same way. He's used to me going on about Alistair but I don't even bother with Cullen... he'll get a complex haha. He said DAI looks good, might try it but he won't and I don't care much as long as he leaves me alone when I'm playing lol

He has a sh!t memory too... he now get argo if I try to use the "do you remember"... I just hate it when he thinks I have a bad memory and tells me the same thing 20 times... lol

Oh, that was great! Almost as much fun as watching it for the first time myself.

Oooo, so now that I watch back that gamescom demo properly I'm starting to get an idea of how the advisors work. I hadn't noticed when I watched it the first time on a small screen that when rescuing the Inquisition soldiers they had selected Cullen's option to send in some of his men to search for them, thus opening up the quest because they discovered where they were being held captive and are told by the Avvar that they want to meet the "Herald of Andraste" first if they wanted to get their soldiers back alive.

That's bloody clever! Also, did you notice that by selecting his option you see Cullen pick up a book off the table? I'll pee my pants if it's one of Varric's saucy novels!

When I look at this schedule, the amount of days until the game is released doesn't look that long

Planning to read both Asunder and Last Flight in September, so that should still my DA hunger for while ^_^

My family is wishes I'd shut up about Dragon Age - my 12 year old son & I have constant 'my game is better' mock arguments. He's currently trying to convince me to play Assassin's Creed, but I told him it was dicey because you can't be a woman and there's no smooching lol!  I have braved the eyerolls and forced them all to watch the trailers for DAI and got some half-promises to try it.

I found Dragon Age through a forum - and now I'm outing myself as a dating sim player - dedicated to Japanese otome games. I saw it had romance & dragons, so thought I'd take a chance despite my dislike of combat. I loved it, took me 4 months to finish just in time for DA2 to come out. I even love the combat now! Even the clunky DAO style.

Hmmm, it looks to me like it has something to do with magic that is either being preformed by him or preformed on him and it is making his eyes all weird.

OH I hadn't caught that. The A button says "accept report." So maybe Cullen's picking up the report or something?

Looking at it again, it is pretty skinny to be a book... especially one of Varrics, so I think you're right he's picking up the report to read over the soldier's findings for himself.

... D'awww, look at him being all professional and leadery!

Strange feeling, isn't it! It's nice to see him animated doing something beyond standing in the gallows/circle tower or running around fighting and being angry lol!
