He has the same tone and pitch of voice as our English Cullen, very good choice of a German counterpart!

I wonder what the Orlesian's sound like in the French version, cos they're all French anyway. Maybe they just have super posh pompous OTT French accents and the Fereldan's and commoners have normal and common sounding French accents?

I had a conversation about this the other day with Mellorian and Gala on the twitter. Apparently, the dubbed versions don't use as many accents. Gala even said the Russian version doesn't use any accents as they don't translate well to fantasy settings. I'll try to find the tweets.

whenever i see the idea that glowy lady may be andraste, i keep thinking of the black emporium line, "please don't fondle naked andraste."

 

advisor's clothes: shame abt that. even it was jjust one other outfit--one that was a bit more casual, and they could change themselves, i don't have to do it. but i would like to see leli without the hood all the time. josie in sum pants on occasion?, or some sassy boots. and cullen without all the stuff on. sometimes. it doesn't have to be completely casual, just perhaps a "Lite" version they can change into.

I hope he at least comes out of some of the armor eventually in romance scenes. I used to be involved with historical re-enactors, and when I see a character hugging someone in plate armor, my thought is always "don't get anything soft near the gaps in those plates".

I'm hoping, like someone else suggested in here, that they'll give us a clothing set for them in the form of DLC that we could toggle between. That's what ME3 did with the companion armor and outfits, which was pretty cool.

If anything, keeping him in the same armour makes this more likely since they'd only have to animate him (and Josie) removing the same outift. Though I think I would prefer something like Merrill's scene, or a modded version of the Alistair scene(?), where Cullen and the Inquisitor kiss and embrace, however saucy, and fade to black to wake up in bed together.

My concern is that giant fluffy thing blocking the view of the make out session, LOL!

It's weird though, because sometimes the fluffy thing looks like it's huge and engulfing his face, and other times it looks smaller and less... big.

I know Even if DG doesn't like it lol it IS canon now that you can go for 30 years before having to heed your Calling. The Warden and Alistair have only been tainted for 10 years, and even if Blackwall is a veteran, could've only been 20 years for him.

Ohh I saw that on Tumblr too  I never really think about that aspect of being a Warden, prob cause I haven't had any emotional attachment to any character that had The Calling approaching (any alive character, Duncan probably would've been a tad bit heartbreaking to lose that way) I'm not super attached to Blackwall yet, really haven't looked too much into his character. I'm sure once I play the game though, if something like that were to happen at the end-game I would be clawing my eyes out and wailing like a lunatic.

I thought they'd been trying to say that it could be up to 30 years, and people who went through the Joining during a blight usually had less, sometimes as little as 10 years? I can't remember where I read that, though, but believe me, I'm hoping they hold to the original 30 years, I'd like to see our wardens get a little more time after the blight than 10 years.

As an ESL who plays in English, one thing I wonder is how many players turn on the subtitles. I see people on this forum misspelling lore names quite often, so I guess not many?

i mean, it's not like i'm wanting BW to have them showing at the war table cuz we dragged them outta bed in the middle of the night. And like Josie shows up in a house coat with giant curlers in her hair; and Cullen shows up w/his hair All messed up, shirtless, wearing red long johns, with a "Happy Little Friend" who's very awake, and his chest covered in discreet love marks, and........um...what?

Yes!! I love this. Love this detail.

 

in Saint's Row 2 they have this thing where if you're idle for awhile--cuz it happens--the PC will then just walk off and start doing their own thing. Like if you're by the docks, the pc will just walk off and start fishing. Or depending where you are when you go idle, they'll walk off and start dancing; smoking; drinking a 40 oz--lol! funny stuuff.

 

or the companions you're w/will say, "What are we standing around for? Let's go shoot something."
