We're gonna have to feed his lyrium habit though, as well as that of the Templars if we recruit them. Speaking of, this could be a way to gain an alliance with Orzammar, cause they could easily get us access to the lyrium.

 

He seemed to go pretty easy on his Templar recruits, they got away with doing all sorts, LOL! Maybe that's why in DAI there's such a good sense of camaraderie amongst his troops, because he let's enjoy themselves in their free time, rather than putting up restrictions?

How it is canon? The fact that Alistair said it work like this (even without considering his actual inexperience in Warden stuffs at the time) doesn't mean much. He said he never assumed lyrium and that templars don't need it, which was already proven wrong/retconnetted. The same could go for the Calling, if the writers decided it works like Gaider said (at best 30 years, and worse during the Blight).
Regardless, we don't know how much time Blackwall was a Warden. If he's 50 and was recruited when he was 20, he could still be near the Calling.
I don't really want him (or the Warden and Alistair) to go through the Calling during the game, but we have no clue on how close he could be to his Calling regardless of the two theories on the taint/Calling.

Wow dude way to be a buzzkill about the only character I really want to romance at this point.

In other news the Sims 4 demo did not exactly agree with my laptop. After struggling and stuttering/stopping repeatedly, my laptop just finally shut off o.O LOL oh well. Wasn't gonna buy the bloody thing anyway.

It wasn't my intention to be a buzzkill, and I apologize for this . As I said, I don't want him to face his Calling in DAI, and I doubt we'll lose companions by default in the game, so I don't think he'll face it in DAI.

Ok so the more I watch that trailer the more I hear Corypheus as the big bad at the beginning. Especially the way he says ' he does not exist'.  Which seeing Hawke and a warden together seems to kind of maybe support that, as Hawke fought Cory in Legacy and he was being imprisoned by the wardens.  Maybe Hawke went missing because he/she was helping the wardens with hunting him down and re capturing him?
