Yup. Billy and Teddy are so damn adorable.
I have to admit, when I read Billy and Teddy these are the first people to pop into my mind. ![]()

Now see, this makes me impossibly happy. It means the expressions are going to be fantastic in this game. I love DAII, but the expressions were.... well, could have been better. The movement was mostly only around the eyes, which made things a bit weird.
Lol, Hawke's eyes were crazy! Remember that me gusta expression when Flemeth appeared in prologue? When I saw Hawke in DAI trailer, I recognized her by both the dirty nose, and the same drunk expression on her faceAll I can think of is Hawke's expression when she's talking to Varric about the Deeproads. "Well I guess now we're adventurers!" Then her eyes go all wonky when she tries to raise an eyebrow o.O

There are a few cringeworthy facial expressions, that one with Varric is ranked no.1 on my list for sure lol I dread that part of the convo purely because of that.
In Scotland we often refer to a potato as being a "spud", I'm thinking that might be Cullens new nickname lol.
Weather is wild here today, so many power-cuts already
Got to love living in the countryside lol.
And wow, I just noticed this thread has almost 66k posts and it has over 1.5 MILLION views, geez, if that ain't dedication, I don't know what is ![]()

This makes me happy, because it means that his nose only looks bad when he's not happy
Big relief.
All the more incentive to keep that boy happy
Like we wouldn't be trying anyway lol
I dunno, as much as I like her, I'm not a fan of Leliana being an Agent of the Divine. To me, that puts puts her into a way more Chantry-loyalist camp than someone like Cullen, who started off as a loyalist but has been shaped by experience and perspective, as someone who's seen the problems first hand.
If the world went back to how it was before the Mage-Templar war and the Breach happened, I'm not certain that Leliana would be that bothered with the continued suffering of the Mages, as long as the status quo was restored? Not to say that she's heartless and apathetic about it, but she'd probably rationalise the Circle's continued existence as a necessary evil?
I don't think I'd characterize Leliana and her being pro-Chantry as being blind to the suffering of mages. After reading Asunder, I think Justinia seems pretty sympathetic to the mage plight. She did, after all, start exploring ways to help them as soon as she took office. Moreover, she pushed the Seekers and Templars away through her help of the mages as well.
Hello, Cullen Fans. Just dropping by to ask something and I'm pretty sure this is the best place for that answer
So, in DAII there's mention Cullen had feelings for a mage if your import is one from the Circle, right? Or is it something else? Because my main is a mage and there's no mention in his codex. Do I have to hit on him and put him on the run?
Thank you
I had the same issue, and I didn't use the "We should go somewhere more private and continue this discussion" option... so I think you might be on to something
To my knowledge this is just an import bug that they tried patching with limited success. You're apparently supposed to get that blurb in the codex if you had a mage warden, regardless of which conversation options you chose in DA:O.Nah, I think it did appear in the codex before, without taking the creeper option in DA:O. It seems to be after one of the updates it doesn't appear? That's what I've heard from others, at least. So maybe they removed it via update when they decided Cullen would be an LI in DAI? Or it's a bug. Import bugs a rife in DAII.
On Cullen's nose:
Hmm. Thanks so much for asking about this... I still have a hard time believing that's the same nose, tho... But either way... I like the latest one the best. Begone, potato nose!
On Cullen's nose:
@bbattye
@Galagraphia @i_likesocks Well, if the fate of art is on the line... his nose isn't different. But it scrunches a bit when he's upset.
Sc-scrunchy nose?

Sc-scrunchy nose?
Hi everyone!
Just passing by to say hi,tomorrow I'll be travelling to Scotland so if anything interesting happens,I'd appreciate it if someone pm'd me,so that I can check it out later. ![]()
So. I've been reading Ms. Battye's Twitter, and I have to say our Cullen writer is the most adorable!
Sc-scrunchy nose?
*snip because terrifying reaction image is terrifying*
Holy crud! on0 What is that? /stuff of nightmares/
But I think this nose-news is adorable! He scrunches his nose when upset? I think the level of emotion and facial movements on people this time will be wild.
Oh, thank God! I thought I was the only one that thought this was awesome/perfect while others seemed more focused on 'ugly' nose.
*doesn't feel alone now!* ![]()
So apparently the DAI site isn't working right now. Not for me, anyway...
"The page you requested could not be found; it's been burnt to ashes by a dragon."
Bioware, pls.
Ooo, yay--thank you! I just want to see a bickering married Alistair and Anora in DA:I (totes head-cannoning that) but I can't handle not having Alistair for my warden as well. What can I say--I'm attached!
I have two Tabriz's, one as Alistair's mistress with Anora knowing all about it, the other with Leliana. BTW, after you've completed the Alienage quest during the Landsmeet, make sure you talk to your father twice, with Alistair in the party. There's a cute little cut scene (or I got it anyway) involving the whole family.

Big noses are manly
as long as they have the facial structure to match. Which Cullen does ![]()
Small noses are what you have to watch out for. And small behinds. And pretty hair.
Actually Cullens hair looks gel'd up but I'm going with helmet hair for my sanity.
Hmm. Thanks so much for asking about this... I still have a hard time believing that's the same nose, tho... But either way... I like the latest one the best. Begone, potato nose!
Yeah, because look at this:

It's basically the same angle. But one looks potato, and the other looks hot. ![]()
(my Quizzy will be pulling his nose down when he does that, like my mom did with mine when I was a kid. Because my nose does that thing too, lol)

Aww, poor Cullen.
I love his scrunchy nose, and his "potato" face.

Totally agree. Seems pretty clear, from both dev comments and the footage that we've seen, that they're still twitching little things with the models, like the eyes, for ex. This just really seems to be one of them. Ah I suppose time will tell once we see the final, final version in game and from multiple angles.

Works for me. A little greener than I remember it, but I'm otherwise not noticing any changes. The character pictures are still the same, the class specialisations are still 'coming soon'.
Works for me, too.

But maybe there's a prob with your localized version?
They totally gave him a piggy nose and tiny eyes. The nose he has is really not the same he had in DA2. I'm actually a little dissapointed.Yeah, because look at this:

I wonder if I should try to ask about his skirt too, or leave it for speculations?
I was studying Meredith's armor today, and I noticed that the decorative pattern on her skirt matches the pattern of the back side of Cullen's skirt (we see it during Dorian's scene in the trailer), and that she wears the same gauntlets, just without the templar insignia. She also wears the same golden sash, that looks like a ribbon. Also HoDA Cullen is dressed exactly like Meredith, just wears a shorter skirt, because he's shameless.Of course, HoDA is not a good source of information, but the design of Cullen's armor in DAI looks like he was the Knight-Commander, and kept most parts of his armor when he joined the Inquisition. Or maybe he looted Meredith's wardrobe, of which I approve, because I love looting myself.
I see these resemblances, too, which begs the question of if he was Knight-Commander of Kirkwall. I always headcanoned that his KC armor would be a male version of Meredith's, too. Also, the other templar skirts seem to be a bit shorter in general for DA:I. Seems they've changed them to be a mesh over actual legs, so maybe his skirt just reflects a general shift in how they can do robes/skirts in general with Frostbite?
Anything she'd tell us about the skirts would be welcome! ![]()

He's so much hotter in the recent picture. So much! Even if they say they didn't change anything, something happened.
Bye, bye potato nose, good riddance!
