Now that the combat Q&A is out, I wonder if we'll be getting another Gameplay Features Series video soon?

When i played the demo i put it on super easy and it wasn't that bad, i didn't even needed to use a healing spell nor a potion to regain my health even when i was fighting a mini boss and when the game comes out i think i will stick to that difficulty because i suck at combat and im not ashamed to admit it
I hope so! But they could of scaled the difficulty down for the demo so it goes faster.

But I did chop Zevran's head off! Then I recruited him.
Awkward....

I usually like to play games on Normal or Hard (although IIRC I played most of DA2 on Easy because I found the Parachuting Enemies tedious and was mainly playing the game for the story); my ideal difficulty setting has most big battles taking me more than one try (but not more than, like, 4 for the Archdemon). I just want to be able to clean up between battles without having to deal with A. loading screens for going back to camp constantly or B. spending a ton of money on potions (like in DAO when you get injuries and can't heal them without going to camp or spending an Injury Kit until you have a fairly advanced Spirit Healer). Unless they explicitly say otherwise, I'm holding out hope that there are still one or two basic healing / revival spells, though (did you see one while playing?).
for the A part i think they have tweeted that they have minimized the amounts of loading screens, as for the B part im not sure how much money u will spend on making potions and such but u can craft them for free if u want instead of buying them.
Solas had a healing spell although i don't quite remember what it was called, (the icon was pretty similar to the da2 one green with a cross on it) i played on an xbox controller witch i have no clue how to use so I PUSHED ALL THE BUTTONS ![]()

Wish I could like this twice for the two bolded parts! On that latter count, they had me worried with the "people who liked DAO's Normal mode might want to play DAI on Hard" talk. (edit: i.e. I was worried from previous interviews / reviews that all difficulties were getting dumbed down, but if your husband plays RPGs and got wiped out on Hard his first try, that sounds like one of my two preferred modes will be perfect.)

Actually, I think I'll let everyone fill in the rest of that joke for themselves...

I'm excited to finally get tactical view as a console player. I might even start fiddling with tactics, beyond making Fenris target mages and Anders target warriors.

Tactics are tedious, but in the long run really help out.

I have never had the patience for setting up individual tactics (which is probably why I've never ventured beyond normal mode), because it's far too much micro-management for me. I prefer the thrills and occasional rage-quits that come with flying blindly into danger with minimal preparedness.
Which now I think about it, might be enough reason for me to dub my sword on my warrior playthrough as "Ser Leeroy Jenkins".

I'm terrible like that, I go flying in there completely unprepared and die 50+ times before I remember I can use tactics, lol. Even as a Mage I'm going in there guns blazing getting my arse kicked, when I know for well I'm supposed to keep back and fight from a distance. Thank the Maker for the Knight Enchanter specialisation!

I'm gonna say that the dude in the red is chevalier purely based off his sword.

I'm glad Viv's a KE, cause hopefully that spec will allow for a lot of flexibility for when I need more ranged or more melee DPS. Plus, bonding time between me and my archer bestie. (She will learn to love me)

I really should start using tactics more, that Sky Altar boss in MotA is so tough that I sometimes even get a total party wipeout on easy and the Harvester in Amgarrak is the bane of my achievement list, I will beat you one day!
And when I do remember not to run into danger (as a mage or an archer), my suicidal companions end up doing it instead. You'd think that they'd improve the AI so that when Varric yells "TRAP!" he doesn't run into it, or the other companions know to steer clear... but instead, I'm forced to watch in horror and yell at the screen;

(Incidentally, despite what the trailers show with him proudly and bravely leading the charge, Cullen will finish his speech and then be directed to the most safest corner of the battlefield and I shall have Iron Bull sit on him to ensure he stays there!)
