Costume change to literally depict that?

Costume change to literally depict that?
Maybe not. There are three people in the image. Rosslin could very well be fighting with us against the third guy.
It's possible that he's a chevalier that has joined our group.

Rosslin: Pardon me for a moment, good sir.
Blackwall: *lowers sword*
Rosslin: *removes coat, then carefully puts on inside-out*
Rosslin: En guarde
Blackwall: *raises sword*

I hope Rosslin might be a turncoat or a Chevalier, because aside from Aveline's father, we've heard precious little of any Chevalier being the noble knights of the Orlesian Empire they are supposed to be, instead of the roaming band of complete psychopaths that most people have encountered?

I really should start using tactics more, that Sky Altar boss in MotA is so tough that I sometimes even get a total party wipeout on easy and the Harvester in Amgarrak is the bane of my achievement list, I will beat you one day!
And when I do remember not to run into danger (as a mage or an archer), my suicidal companions end up doing it instead. You'd think that they'd improve the AI so that when Varric yells "TRAP!" he doesn't run into it, or the other companions know to steer clear... but instead, I'm forced to watch in horror and yell at the screen;
(Incidentally, despite what the trailers show with him proudly and bravely leading the charge, Cullen will finish his speech and then be directed to the most safest corner of the battlefield and I shall have Iron Bull sit on him to ensure he stays there!)
Ugh, I hated that. A lot of times the companions would run into traps before I could disable them. ![]()

Oh wow, now apparently any Tom, Dick and Harry can get into the Keep thanks to that leak. And not in the good
*snip*
Nah, it's BS, doesn't work now.
Also, PC, the mods have told us to drop the Keep stuff, so let's not bring it in here.

Ah good. The whole leak still has me a bit riled. And sorry, will do.

Nope. I want him to be a good Chevalier in our Inquisition.

Most Chevalier's appear to be good and honorable men to a fault.
Just putting that out there.

I meant that I just didn't want him to be a turncoat working for someone else.
It's highly possible Gaspard or Celene lent some of their Chevaliers to us. Though, I don't know if the Chevaliers still fall under Celene's dominion.

I would love it if we came across a chevalier or two that isn't one of those that abuse their rank for sexual abuse and whatnot.
I actually read some time ago that warriors could become chevaliers! Though I took it with a grain of salt because it was some magazine.

Oh you guys mean turncoat against us? I was thinking turncoat against whoever he was working with before.
Yeah, that's possible. Either way, I think he's working with us, and was fighting the third person in the image, not Blackwall specifically.

Nah, none of our warriors can become Chevaliers. They'd already have to been a part of the Order.

Yeah I figured as much. The magazine probably confused chevalier with the champion spec.

But they are nobility...
._. Why would you deny them the perks of being NOBILITY, back in the day WHEN that meant something!
The Law was, what you said it was!
._. It was a sweet gig i bet...

I'm so relieved to hear that tactics are back. I saw the tactics tab in one of the last videos, so I knew they were going to play some part but it's nice to hear that they have included the feature from a dev. I hope they aren't stripped back to bare bones though.
I LOVE setting up my companion tactics, it's the most enjoyable part of combat to me. I'm so thrilled when I see my preplanned strategy play out in the game and pay off. I get all 'kiss my arse, suckers!' to the enemies and basically gloat a lot - I MAY have been known to pause the game and do sad victory dances......but that's just a rumor.
Horses for courses and all that stuff but I absolutely recommend checking the feature out and giving it a go. It adds a whole different dimension to the game, these days I get actively annoyed when I have to take manual control of my companions because I feel like I didn't think their tactics through carefully enough and I should have been able to account for that scenario.
I guess, I just love them. ![]()

But then why don't they just visit a brothel instead of throwing themselfs onto some poor souls?
