Humans would have been taught a strict Chantry view of demons and spirits, elves would have been taught about the dangers of all spirits by their Keeper, qunari might have heard about the Qun's views of spirits and the Fade from the Tal-Vashoth in the mercenary band, and dwarves likely would have heard about demons and spirits from the mumblings of common people on the street or perhaps from the writings of Brother Genitivi we can find all over the place. Whoever taught your Inquisitor about spirits doesn't matter, but does your Inquisitor agree with them? Do they follow these ideas to the strict letter, think the teachings should have been stricter still, or do they have their own thoughts and idle wonders? Will they hear a demon out, even if it doesn't mean taking their offer, or will they attack on sight?

Auren: Believed what he was told as a kid regarding spirits and their dangers, so he approaches magic with caution.

 

Kael: Very Merrill-esque in that he felt frustrated by what he saw to be fear-mongering when the Keeper discussed spirits and the dangers of communicating with them. He will always listen to what a spirit has to say, even if he has no intention of doing what it asks. Why turn down a learning opportunity? He will find Cole very interesting and might think of him more as a science experiment than a person at first Bad Kael!

That's my thinking too--unless I'm way off, she can't mean that's what they've been doing up until now, right? So clearly we can hope for that as the projected rate between now and November. Or, better wishful thinking yet, maybe that was the filming rate rather than the release rate, and we can expect even more than 2-4/mo in the coming weeks as they clear out the backlog.

As I said a few dozen pages back, I find any woman who can physically or verbally kick my arse to be incredibly attractive. I don't know if Viv's going to be a LI or not (or for what sexuality), but if my Manquisitor can romance her, Cass is going to end up with some heavy competition?!
