Haha but I'm not here to complain or anything. I've accepted it, I'm sure they made the best in game decision in their opinion. It just hurts and I figure to get over my sadness I should find new enthusiasm because the enthusiasm I have other characters isn't helping now.

And since Cullenites have always been welcoming to me, I've come here!

 

If it helps any, I was thoroughly bummed, too.  I would've made a dwarf warrior for the first time, just for Varric.  But noooooo!  I was sad.

I feel sad for them because I feel we got so lucky (HA! This was totally not deliberate) here in the Cullen thread by getting our romance.

Still, I'm guessing it means Bianca semi confirmed for DAI and I really wanted to know what happened there with our star crossed Dwarven lovers. I suppose that only makes it worse for Varric fans though.

I wish they'd just confirm who the last two LIs are. I don't see the point of keeping people hoping and guessing. At this time it doesn't even seem like good PR since dragging it out just makes people more disappointed the longer they go on with it. It doesn't seem like a good sales tactic to disappoint people when the release day is so close. When we get close to getting the game there should only be fun and enthusiasm.

Agreed. If they were going to try to surprise the players, they should have just kept it all under wraps. Revealing some and not others just seems to add to the anxiety, though, especially since some people will inevitably be disappointed.

 

I think it would be better to let the disappointment blow over, and give people a chance to get it out of our systems before launch.

Since I think the leaked achievement List is true, I guess it'll be the MP announcement. I don't care that much about it, but in the case this will happen I'm curious to see how it works.

Though I don't mind much the lack of a demo. It requires a lot of works, and i prefer that the extended time goes for polishing the game.

The ice-bucket challenges are really cool   Allegra doing hers in Josies voice was sweet, GE/Cullen singing his nominations was fun to hear, his boys getting involved too was cute. Although I have to say with the beating down sunshine in Hawaii it was probably a welcome relief to have ice water thrown on him, cheater (joking ofc), it's for a brilliant cause. Good on all of them for being such good sports .

So, it just occurred to me that I have an xbox one sitting in my living room. So what, I hear you say. Well, wasn't there something about being able to give someone money and you'd be able to get your grimy paws on DAI a week early or so? I'm sure that I read it somewhere. Anyway my point is that I would very much like to get my hands on DAI as soon as possible. So, does anyone know if this is a demo or a limited time thing or the whole bag of tricks?

If it's a fair whack of game then it's probably worth the effort of kicking my kids off the stupid console and trying to work out how to use the even stupider controller thing (PC gamer here!). If it's just a little bit or a demo then I probably wouldn't bother with it. Has anyone heard details?
