OK I can't post a link for some insane reaon but go to 8tracks.com and search for Cullen, dragon age inquisition tags...some fun mixes there, been listening today whilst writing a fanfic.

Crap i told my husband about the MP in DAI being kinda like diablo and i swear to god I literally saw his eyes sparkle no way im gonna play with him.. he will kick my arse

But hey... I guess he seems more interested in DAI now....sooo.. thats a plus I guess?

 

Both my sons cut their teeth on MP. They would be so much better than me.  I did the Destiny thing a while ago, and they thought it was hilarious. I was kicking butt, and then ended up out in an area where other actual people were and I totally fell apart.  It's a mental thing, I think. It's like I lose the ability to function or something.

Will playing MP be required to get the full-game experience?

·         No. The SP campaign is separate from MP. In SP, you have the support of three specialists who can send agents to missions. MP characters are agents. At the start of a MP mission, you will hear one of the specialists explaining the goal of your mission.

Is MP going to affect my endings in SP?

·         No. Absolutely not. Our goal with Dragon Age multiplayer is not to affect your SP campaign. We simply want to give our fans the chance to play with their friends for the first time in the Dragon Age universe.

Well - multiplayer.......okay.....that's cool, I guess.

 

Actually, the only thing that excites me about the idea is joining the Cullenites FailQuisition because although co-op fills me with the horror of public humiliation, you guys are awesome and if I'm going to suck at something publicly, I'd rather do it in your company.  

 

Presumably you can't pause and think in multiplayer, if you can do that then I can happily help out with the butt kicking but anything that involves reaction time and an ability to not get distracted by all the shiny things around you pretty much rules me out of being useful.

You can say that again.  It was a mistake in ME to tie it to the singleplayer.  This actually sounds like it might be fun if I can get over my playing-around-other-people shyness and whatnot.

Bramblefae & I figured we'd just add the alcohol component to the mix for maximum lulz.  Actually we could make it a drinking game - chug a lug every time you kill a companion!

Seriously. The whole time I'm trying to do stuff, I have these guys (my sons and their friends) yelling at me that I can't take all day, that I just need to keep moving.  It's like "shut the hell up already."

Shyviolet - Well now that is a gameplay innovation that I can REALLY get behind.    If we inadvertently friendly fire the entire squad do we get to drain the bottle?

 

Edit - My husband banned me from playing Halo with him on the grounds that watching me get lost constantly was bad for our marriage and then he killed me and looted my shotgun.

I think the majority of us here are only excited because we have a chance to play or fail with each other. I certainly wouldn't even think about playing it if it was random folks. Not many random people have the patience to wait on me unsticking myself from a wall face or running in the wrong direction.

Some of our runs will definately be appropriate for Yakkity Sax song for sure lol.

I think that should be mandatory     If I was, for some insane reason, playing with people who knew what they were doing I would go through a lot more than one bottle to mask my shame.

Now THAT would be a fun single player and multiplayer crossover.  Cullen our military strategist dumps the Inquisitor after losing all respect for their combat ability.  Three fails and you're OUT.  It's become a high stakes game

Lol im not really shy of playing with other ppl is just that I SUCK REALLY REALLY BAD  and im not even joking right now, if any one of u were to play with me on a MP game u would prob say:

Can Qunari players get a special ability in MP that allow them to throw Elven players across the battlefield?

 

And will we get multiple jars of bees, or just one per match?
