Drinking causes me to lose my grip on my carefully trained standard English, and my native hillbilly takes over, I'm afraid. Or I start trying to speak really badly accented Russian.

Not gonna lie, that sounds entertaining.

Sober, I sometimes mix in words in a language different than the one I'm speaking, but surprisingly if I'm drinking and speaking English, it's all English. Then again, sometimes I'm drinking and I start speaking English to non-speakers, so...

Upon occasion when i am intoxicated i do break out in norwegian or german...the german isn't bad (it was the second spoken language i learned) but my norwegian is rusty and horribly slurred, you lose pronunciation when intoxicated i have learned.

I supposedly started ranting at my friends in german once after a few too many

I used to contact vendors in Europe for one of my jobs. Even with my best standard English, the French would ask me to fax or e-mail my requests because they couldn't understand me. I'm also told I speak German with a Russian accent (what little German I know), and Russian with a US Southern accent.

When my grandmother started succumbing to Alzheimers, she started speaking German a lot, which we thought was strange, because she grew up in Philadelphia. But she was born in the 19th century, and apparently, as many Philadelphians spoke German as English at that point, so who were we to question?

Drunkquisition MP with other Cullenites could go two ways: either I'll get talkative in a fluent way or I'll forget how to English. Both are known to happen.

Drunkquisition sounds like something that should be available in SP.

Okay, question for you PC savvy folks. My brother-in-law is having a computer built for me so I can play TS4 (if you recall). These are TS4 specs needed: http://www.pcgamer.c...have-a-core-i5/

Is that enough to play DAI, too?

If you can afford it, I'd go with at least Core i7 and 8GB of RAM. The DAI engine is more demanding than the Sims one.

Take a look at the Battlefield 4 minimum/recommended specs, DAI's will probably be around those.

Okay, thank you  ^_^ Hmm that's the problem; I don't think he can spend a whole lot of money. Wow, it would really be a shame to finally get a nice PC and not be able to play DAI! Oh well  :(

Nah, I'm sure you'll still be able to play it even without top of the line specs, don't worry.  ^_^ My PC is pretty potato, and little things like lowering the graphics settings/shadows draw and closing every backgroud task usually helps a lot with heavier games.

In one of threads here one of devs said that they are going to release DAI's specs in September ^^

I'd use the specs for Battlefield 4 since it uses the same engine as DAI.

I wish developers released the laptop specs. I always have to find some place to run tests with different mobile cards.

The scenery looks so beautiful. I can see it now: my Inquisitor standing or walking around while I take in the scenery, losing track of time while my computer heats up and up and up until boom: it's off. (It's gonna be Summer for me.)

My computer has decided to start overheating (and shutting down) even when I'm trying to play games like DA:O. This does not look good for da:I. I'm trying everything to fix it right now, but neither cooling pad or removing dust is helping. I'm down to replacing the thermal paste, if that does not help I will have to get a new one. And this one isn't even that old. Not happy, I had planned on spending my money on something other than a new laptop.

Just thought I'd share my misery :/
