Well, isn't it a classic Tevinter robe?

We could wear the same robes in DAO as well.

The Tevinter robe is a bit different than his coat. I think the only thing they have in common is the pauldrons.

tumblr_mjtvg235vu1r9sadho8_1280.jpg

But maybe they changed the texture of the robes to look like his? Who knows?

Well I have developed a multiplayer strategy already.  Apparently they accept hard currency in lieu of ability - I'm going to buy stuff until I WIN!!!!!  HAHAHA take that darkspawn - MasterCard.   :D

I think the best or worst non-mastercard strategy for winning would be if we had to save Cullen in the level.

Based on how incredibly, awesomely hopeless we are likely to be, I hope that's not a "thing". :pinched:

O.O

Oh gosh I forgot about that. >.> I kinda regret gushing to my boyfriend about the multiplayer now... he spent over $2000 on packs in the ME3 MP just cause. o.O It's not that he was bad, in fact, he was really good. He was just super impatient to get all the stuff  Man, I hope they don't do RNG again, although from what I understand we're crafting everything and we're just buying material, which just sounds awesome.

Inquisitor: What is the update on our search parties?

Cullen: Um...

Inquisitor: Cullen?

Cullen: *sighs* I may as well be honest with you: they are rather...unfortunate.

Inquisitor: Unfortunate?

Cullen: They get the job done...eventually...

Inquisitor: Eventually?

Cullen: And...they're roaring drunk.

Inquisitor: WHAT?!

Cullen: They've made a game of it! Whenever a companion dies they start chanting "CHUG CHUG CHUG" until all of them are ******-drunk! The mages can't even throw a spell straight, rogues try to pick locks in unsavory places, and warriors start using their swords for limbo!

Inquisitor: We may as well call it the-

Cullen: NO PLEASE DON'T-

Inquisitor: ...Ineptquisition.

Cullen: I quit.

Seriously, I love this post.  I've already liked it but it just seems an inadequate expression of my feelings.  So -

I really hope we get a reference about Carver or Bethany if they're alive in our world state. I'd love to see them, but I realize that's really unlikely given all their possible fates and looks. Templar-Carver was with Cullen the last we saw him, so maybe he could mention him to Varric or something.

If the Wardens are corrupted or something and Carver gets caught up in that mess... I think I'll scream.

Well, luckily he's a welder so he makes a lot of money. But... yeaaaah... >.> Luckily he's not into DA as much as he was into ME, so maybe he'll spend less than that this time.

Lol yeah, I imagine our house if that happened, insta-divorce lol. I'd happily substitute food for some gaming goodies, him... not so much :P

If and when SP dlc's come along, I'll throw all my money at Bioware without a second thought. Not so for co-op though, I'm sure it will be fun playing with you guys but I won't put extra RL money into it.

I'm possibly getting it mainly because my gaming pc is half a continent away from me at the moment,so I'll  get a ps4 for November, because I can't wait until my Christmas-home visit to get my hands on Inquisition.

I was thinking more of Sailor Moon, but hey, as long as it's full of warm and fuzzy justice, I'm okay with it! :D

But Friendship is Magic! LOL So we'll be full of warm and fuzzy justice, and lyrium, apparently. ;) Just like Cullen.

I'm also on PC, and sucky at MP, so the Cullenite Suckquisition sounds like the place to be! Particularly since I think I'll be sucking at DAI in general.

Failquisition, war-room brief :

Specialist - Okay, I'm setting up another team to hit that level in MP

Cullen - *shakes head* "Again? so soon?"

Specialist - Yup, we almost have them on the back foot, no time like the present

Cullen - But, but.. our forces barely recovered from the last attempt

Specialist - What do you mean?

Cullen - Look, I dont mean to sound critical but.....your team has already attempted that mission 15 times

Specialist - Yes well, *rubs back of neck* we had some......technical difficulties *cough* And your point is?

Cullen - Your squad didn't even make it past the first group of enemies before you had to escape.....

Specialist - Uhm, Good Point.......not to worry, Practise makes perfect :)

Cullen  - I was afraid you'd say that..........*grumble*

My main focus will be SP for sure, I want to immerse myself in all of that and then some before I consider playing MP. It's good to know that should I decide to dip my toes into MP that I wouldn't be alone though.

Cullenites - Fail them or Fall

Replacing the thermal paste can do wonders. I hope it works for you. But as someone who's very familiar with overheating computers, let me tell you that DAO causes it a LOT more than DA2 or other more recent games. It sounds insane because it's an old game, but it's harder to run. My last laptop could run DA2 on high settings just fine but overheated like crazy with DAO.

That's good to know, I was worried because my new laptop got hotter than I like when I tried to play DAO while my desktop was having the harddrive replaced three months ago. I'm waiting for the official system requirements to find out if I need to upgrade the graphics card on my (custom-built) PC, but I'm pretty sure the rest of the system will be fine.

Luckily, I don't have to answer to anyone about where I spend my money, lol, but I'm also living under a very restricted income for the next few years so I have to make careful decisions. My computers and gaming are pretty much my only entertainment spending, so yeah, I won't be throwing money at the MP stuff either. Possibly at the SP DLCs when they come along.

That sounds like the best way to do MP, if there even is one. (Don't mind me, I'll grumble, but I'm harmless.)

Who here will be playing on PC?

all this talking about drunk playthrough of MP, makes me even more anxious for teaming up with you ;u;

Ok, I need cheering up, popped into another thread about Ugly characters......it seems, to a few people that aging and increased ugliness go hand in hand :crying: I'm sitting here, the other side of 40 thinking "urgh, bad hair day, totally didn't need to read that today" lol.

The consensus seems to be that Cullen and Lelliana have aged pretty well but poor Morrigan has polarised some opinions.

In my opinion, Cullen has grown into himself, we have the benefit of being able to see the changes, almost gradually through the games which probably helps.

My question is, even although I feel we have been lucky and he is indeed very handsome, would any of you have turned away from his romance in DAI if his look had been, in your opinion, bad?

He is almost the stereotypical Knight in Shining Armour and I wonder if that has influenced anyone to romance him, taking priority over his character growth and story arc?

Yep. I'm on PC too.  I still don't know if I have the nerve to let people see how quickly I totally fall apart when I'm being observed. It's really pathetic.  ... :P

I'll be on PS4... assuming we're still welcome in the Drinkquisition / Suckquisition if we think we'll be pretty decent at it? I know it's all in good fun, but so much self deprecation in this thread!!! At any rate, now that the game's delayed farther into my dissertation crunch, it'll probably take me so long to finish SP that those of you who think you're going to be bad at MP will be total pros by the time I get to start MP. :)

I'd take a character model that looked like DAO or DA2 Cullen but balding and 50 lbs overweight over a smoking hot but unrecognizable Cullen like the one in the first high-res war table images we saw. All I want is to be able to recognize him as the character I fell in love with in the first two games. What seems to be the latest model, with the flappy Templar tabard thing, is both hot and Cullen, so sign me up!

ok, i'm a really bad person, and i must confess - his looks was the first thing that caught my eye ;n; i'm easily attracted to pretty people. but! but then i started to learn more about his character and everything that relates to him. so now he's a mix of sexyness, and interesting story arc for me ;3;

oh i didn't mean "anxious" in a bad way. i thought more of how eager i am to play MP with cullenites, and i would gladly do it while inebriated (:
